From what I've heard he enjoyed it at first and then came to dislike Baton Rouge and the LSU fanbase.

You don't honestly think LSU is a better program than AU? You know the record books started before 2000, right?
LSU has:
-The series record on Auburn
-More program wins
-Better all time win %
-More National and SEC Championships
-More bowl games
-More bowl wins
-More NY6 bowls: More -> Sugar, Peach, Orange, Cotton / both have no traditional Fiesta or Rose Bowl appearances
-More AP poll weeks
-More AP #1 weeks
-More draft picks
-More first round draft picks
Auburn has:
-More heismans
-Better bowl win %
Tied:
-All Americans
So tell me who the better program is. Didn't know people actually thought AU was better

The best part about this thread is one needs only look at the defensive numbers from last season to see why he was shown the door.
LSU gave up 800 yards of rushing during that three game skid alone. That defense was bad.

That's nothing. Steele did that in one game a few yrs ago!!

I was given a TD hiatus the day Steele was hired, lol.

But we only think he's bad because he went to Aub.

10 pages... Hmmm.
Seems Steele is a more sensitive subject than y'all will admit to

Less pressure at Auburn. They no longer expect a defense that is worth a crap.

Steele left because Miles figured out what everyone else outside of Auburn knows, he is a terrible DC.

Well we got to the ship with 176 year old Ellis Johnson. Reckon I'll wait and see rather than take yalls word for it

Auburn will be begging for Ellis to come back after one season with Steele.

We will be getting after the qb this year. That's half the battle right there. I'm honestly more worried about our offense...

Auburn would have probably had a good defense this year. Maybe even a top 20 D if Muschamp had stayed. Steele has a habit of screwing things up even with the best players. Steele's defenses are soft at the point of attack.

Cannot argue with this. Bama, OM and Arky ran through LSU like shite through a goose.
