To be fair to him, he only had two months to make up for Dooley's wrongdoings. He'll probably have 4 guys drafted next year from his first full recruiting class, along with a couple others who decide to leave early.

So, what you're saying is he took over a roster void of any real talent.
Intradasting.
HIS guys that will be drafted next year:
Jalen Hurd
Alvin Kamara
Derek Barnett
Jalen Reeves Maybin
Cameron Sutton
You can expect that list to grow and then grow some more as Dooley's players are officially cycled out of the roster and others step up this year to make a name for them selves.

Here is a list of some schools that managed to develop at least one player enough to get drafted. And man oh man do these teams have some deep and talented rosters.

*sigh*
Once again...
I don't think you thought this one through. Much like the other guys that started threads about this subject.
Please continue to accidentally fellate Butch.
It's cracking me up.
You're also a couple of days late to the party there chief.
Be more timely with your troll attempts.

Saban, Freeze, and Miles were able to get the previous coach's players drafted. So was Derek Mason.

I understand not having anyone drafted after just one season. Maybe even after two. But how do you not develop one guy, even a late rounder, after three years? Guys will be drafted next year, but it seems to reason that talent alone got them there. Not any actual development from the coaching staff.

It's amazing to think there wasn't one player on the existing roster that couldn't make the NFL when he took over.

It really is amazing, which is why what Butch is doing is impressive. He had virtually zero talent to work with.
The only player worth a damn was Curt Maggitt and he would have been drafted if not for all of his injuries.

It seems to me the truth is starting to crystalize regarding Botch. First, with the positives. Excellent recruiter and an outstanding marketer of the UT program in general. His recruiting prowess is proven and can't be argued.
However, he is not a good game day coach in my opinion or game planner. At the end of the day he requires equal or greater talent than his opponents in order to compete. In other words, Jones ain't gonna out plan or out smart ya. He may be able to out talent you. We shall see. I should be familiar with this problem cause we had Muschamp.......who by the way was able to skunk Botch.
He also doesn't seem to be developing talent. See my previous post. How come he gets the Dooly excuse when other inferior football schools, basketball programs, and even countries manage to get a guy NFL ready?
It should be noted, that this is just how I see it right now. Yes I am a Gator and like to make jabs at UT about our lopsided record here and there, but what I said above is an honest assessment. Not a "troll".
