A&M cares more about looking good than performing at a championship level. That Reddit post from the Aggie hit the nail on the head.

Has anyone ever done a study that factors the facilities with the location and then maybe the game day experience factored in.
In other words, I would rank A&M high on facilities and probably game day, but low on location, whereas a West coast team might be great on location, but less on game day or facilities. Oregon -- I'd rank that high on all three, but I like even the gloomy west coast.
I might be overstating location because most college kids/recruits may simply not care.

You may not like CS, but the location aint low. 90 min from Houston and within a few hours of stupid amounts of high school football talent.

It doesn't matter whether I like it or not or whether it is close to high school talent. It's not not a premier location, all things being equal.
A&M has maximized its facilities attractiveness. Is winning the only thing that matters? Would you rather have a top 10 winning tradition in football and aging facilities?

Should instill some toughness in your team...

A&M's bathtubs are pretty cool.
Might have to steal that design for my own place.

Aggy and toughness does not compute

Never has been, never will be. Pure self delusion. See: Texas

This is adorable.

Obviously winning.
That has nothing to do with what I was discussing.
Low vs premier is quite different. Its in not West Coast beach, but it's not Starkville either.

Then just because you like Oregon doesn't mean everyone else does. Maybe if high school talents just love national forests or something, but otherwise its cold, rainy, and sunshine free more often than not.

So you have to be tough to get shot/wounded?
I figured it was just unlucky, wrong place/wrong time, fate or whatever else but I don't think getting shot/wounded equals toughness.
Gang bangers and idiots get shot everyday, are they also tough?
I've broken several bones and was shot, am I tough?
Any of those 9 on the football team?
Also thanks to those for their service

If you beat the person that shot you to death with a 10-speed after you were shot, that's tough.

John Kerry has a purple heart and we all know what a badass he was.

Are you really being a shithead, belittling American veterans, to talk shite to Aggies? How jealous are you?
