We are on pace to give up 90 points to the second worse offense in the conference. They only average 66.5 ppg.

All their shots are falling. Defense around the arc could be better but the coaching definitely needs to focus on offense. We're not getting any sort of space whatsoever.

You're putting way too much weight in "on pace". Their average shows they're due to regress in the second half. Those numbers look like they're just shooting out of their) their minds right now. Which they are. They don't prove your point. The difference in the second half is gonna be the offense not the the defense. Our offense has looked bad while mizzous has looked exceptionally good. That's the difference.

Why does every team have their best shooting nights against us? Is it something we do defensively?

You got a little recency bias going on

Four straight Auburn opponents all shot 37% or better from deep against the Tigers.
Missouri, which has the nation’s No. 302 3-point offense at 30.6%, shot 62.5% in the first half and leads by 13.

They are, but as others have pointed out, a lot of the shots they’ve made are ones you expect college basketball players to make. Good news is they are shooting at an insane rate and we are still out rebounding them
We are 11/13 from inside the 3. That’s pretty insane.

We are the top ranked SEC team. We are going to get everyone’s A game. This is the life of a basketball school.

Nice you got one stat. And I def said we could step up our defense around the arc. The offense needs more work TONIGHT though. They're bad. And we're not winning this game unless something changes offensively. Mizzous offense more than likely will take care of itself.

Yeah the offense could play better but Mizzou isn’t going to magically start shooting a terrible % from three when they’re wide open. They’re not even coming off screens for open shots. They’re just spot up shots that are wide open.

To be fair, we've been pretty shite defensively for a while.

I get sad every time I see Flanigan launch a three

They blew the doors off Georgia and Florida playing this kind of defense. By all means, keep doing it, but I'll go resume my Saturday.
I’m bored tonight. Hopefully it gets better, or I’m stuck with it.

How the hell does this team miss so many shots at the basket?
Posted on 2/15/20 at 6:24 pm to MTurbo
We need to go at Pinson every time we get a favorable switch on him. Dude plays super physical.

Anybody have a count on air balls we have shot tonight?
