Wiley with some strong clapback:

Richelle
@richellericeSLP
--Auburn center Austin Wiley gave an amused look to the young TV reporter who asked him about people saying this Final Four is “boring” because of the lack of basketball royalty in the field. “We’re not here by accident,” Wiley told the reporter. “We’re here. They aren’t.”

The NCAA said the correct call was made on the foul, but the organization declined to comment on whether or not a double dribble should have been called.

NCAA comments on calls in defense. They'll never throw the refs under the bus nor should they.

It was a blown call but that happens. The best refs aren't perfect

Unfortunately it didn't go our way. Sucks but bad calls means someone gets screwed. Blows it was us

Pretty shite to miss a double dribble. It’s the most basic of all rules in the ga,e. You have consciously make that no call.

Gentlemen the fact is, we had a national championship stolen.

In Men's Basketball.

I'm disappointed and pissed. But I still can't believe I can type that statement.

GTFO with this bullshite. No one stole anything

Not only would we still have another extremely hard game, we didn't take advantage not opportunities for 39.95 minutes. We shouldn't have been in a situation where refs could swing a game on a missed call

Don't be like LSU fans

I 100% agree with you GenesChin. Fact is, we shot under 40% from the floor and lost the turnover battle. Sure, it absolutely sucks to lose like that, but we definitely didn’t play our best game tonight.

Hey dumbasses, it was a double dribble. The most simple call to make. It’s even easier than traveling. The refs chose not to call it even after seeing it.

No shite, the refs blew a call. Probably wasn't the only blown call in that game

Auburn could have won the game if the right call was made but we didn't lose only because the wrong call on one play was made.

Yep. We missed two crucial FT's late. We started the second half at least 0-8 from the field. We had a horrible shooting night and got a lot of really good looks. The no-call hurt, but we should have been in a position where that missed call didn't matter.

ETA when Harper missed the second one, I had a really bad feeling. I have seen it too many times with Auburn. I didn't know how it was going to happen, but I knew something would go wrong.
