Watching EJ Montgomery blow for UK makes me mad We could have used him while UK basically has him as a deep rotation guy
Yeah what's up with that? When he was committed, I expected him to be a good contributor for us day 1. At UK, he hardly gets any playing time. Do you think he'll find his place or look for a transfer?

*Update on the SEC career 3 pointer list
1. Chris Lofton, Tenn - 431
2. Shan Foster, Vandy - 367
3. Pat Bradley, Arky - 366
4. Bryce Brown, AUBURN TIGERS - 355
#2 is suddenly in reach for Bryce
If we can win tomorrow and win our round 1 in the NCAAT, then Bryce needs to maintain his season average of 3.5 threes per game.
There's also a good chance we'll be doing a similar countdown next year with Jared Harper and assists.
As of right now Harper has 473 career assists and only needs 11 to break into the SEC's top 25 all-time. Here's what the top of the list looks like:
1. Kareem Reid, Arky - 748
2. Alex Caruso, aTm - 649
3. Dee Bost, State - 633
4. Gary Waites, Bama - 595
5. CJ Watson, UT - 577
6. Wes Flanigan, AUBURN - 573
7. Chris Chiozza, UF - 571
8. Doc Robinson, AUBURN - 568
Last season Harper had 185 assists, and has 193 so far this season. Let's say we play 4 more games and Harper has 20 more assists, so 213 on the season and 493 career. So it would be a fair guess to Harper will have ~200 assists next season.
That projections would easily put Harper at #2 all-time with 693 career assists. It would also give Auburn 3 players in the top 10, and most important of all it would settle once and for all that Jared Harper is a better PG than Chris Chiozza

You feel like he’s coming back?

The latest Lunardi Bracket has 5)Auburn vs 12)Murray State. I know we beat them before but that is tough 1st round game.

Yeah, it wouldn't make sense for Harper not to come back. The NBA isn't going to draft him, he's 5'8". I don't see Jared Harper pulling a Darvin Adams.

NCAA does not rematch games unless it can't be avoided

I’ve seen projections with us as low as 7. That’s ridiculous. My thought is we’re a 5 now, with a chance at 3 or 4 depending on the next two. Also, I doubt Murray is a 12.
How stupid can you be to have MissSt ahead of us? Better conference record, split season games, and we have a better non conference schedule.

How we can be ranked 22nd but get a 7 seed is ridiculous

This is a weird year for bracketology... with the change from RPI to NET. No one seems to know how lock step the seeding will be with the NET rankings in comparison to how it was with RPI. That being said, I don't see how you could have us lower than a 6 right now.

Horace just spotted them 5

If we can keep this close going into the half then I feel good still. UF has to start missing shots at some point. They’re nearly 70% their last 2 halves of play

Yes. I feel like with our team we need close games at half
