I will say this. The potential is there. Wendell has a habit of nailing one of those Harper-esque daggers from the logo at least once per game.

Yeah well those of us from the 80s also survived the Lebo/Barbee eras. And we were spoiled by women's bball being good by going to the tourney after the men's team didn't do so well...loving the Bruce time now and seeing the show these kids are putting on...

Really my earliest memories are Cliff Ellis and the Cliff Dwellers days. I still have that shirt somewhere lol.

I'm still salty we fired him.

Yeah Harper was a killer. Parts of Green’s game do remind me of Harper which is a huge compliment to Green AND is so fun to watch as a fan of both

When Green destroys UK's interior defense with his driving in OT with a trip to the final four on the line or nails a three from the logo to beat UF with a trip to the conference tournament finals on the line, I may put them on the same level lol.

you mentioned all of that but forgot about the crucial FT he missed late in the Final Four game.

bull shite.

Jared's stats

Green's stats

Bull Shite back at yea. :)

Look at the per game career total for both.

Green - 2pt .418 3pt .359 FT .769
Harper- .416 .363 .792

So you are going to argue over 1,000ths of points?

For now I'll still take Harper making a game ending 3pt shot from half court than Green.

It's honestly very hard to compare the final 4 AU team and this one but heres how I see it

PG Harper/Jvon > Green/Jasper
SG Brown/Dunbar > Allen/KD
SF Chuma/Danjel > Devan
PF Jabari/Jaylin > McLemore
C Walker/Carwell > Wiley/Spencer

SG is really close. The 2018/19 team had a special chemistry that this team doesn't have yet

Jared had an ability to finish at the rim that Green doesn't . The eye test matters to. He also didn't turn it over as much as green as

The final four team's rotation you've got there is a little strange. McLemore was a stretch 5 while Chuma was a stretch 4.

It was more like

Jared - J'Von

Bryce - Samir

Malik - Samir

Chuma - Danjel

Austin - Anfernee

With Horace mixing in at 4 and 5 when we needed another defense oriented big on the court.

Yeah and also this years team... KD will still get majority of minutes at the 2 when AF returns and AF at the 3, bumping Cambridge back to a bench piece. Our 3’s this year with AF back should be better than the beloved Malik/Samir duo (if AF is as good as I anticipate)

Flannigan just picked up an NIL deal with Guthrie's chicken.
