Other than that how would you rate the offense?

Alabama LITERALLY hasn't had a post player that could walk and chew gum at the same time since Jamychal Green a few years ago.

I remember the good ole days where one left and another walked in every year, almost like running backs on the football team.
Dudley to Davis to Davidson to Hendrix to Green
Gueye to Engstrom to Pollard to Taylor
Not exactly the same

Creighton 30 Bama 19 at halftime... at least it's not quite LSU level
Well, since the TAMU game ended 71-38, Bama was right on track. Creighton just needs to pick up the slack.

We are in a battle to see if we can have more turnovers than field goals made.

Creighton has made done a good job of not letting Bama just iso with Obasohan. If Bama had a guy who could knock down the 3 consistently they would be tough. Retin hasn't had many fall tonight but you have to get in his way and he's drawn several blocks.

Or a big who could score from 4 feet. Or another guard who could move. Or a stretch 4 who played with effort for more than 4 minutes. Or another PG who was actually a threat once he got into the lane.

Funny I dont recall Coleman ever getting hot from the 3 point line but go on and get you some young man!

Heck, the run of big men before and up to Dudley was even better (McKey, Cheatham, McDyess, etc). Coach Grant had as bad a run recruiting big men as any coach in the last 10 years has. Literally none of his post recruits can hang on to the ball long enough to make a post move to the basket. Even worse, none of them can rebound.

Coleman keeps making 3's so exciting!
OH wait then we just let Creighton score on the other end.
Fvck it guys

Hall is pretty good when he's able to get his feet set and back a guy down. Coleman is a solid scorer who does well in the lane for a guy his size, plus he gets hot from three every now and then. Bama just needs that one guy on the perimeter that teams know they can't give any space.

Yea, he has some potential. I really like the way he plays, really raw though. I know it is a new staff, but with our recent big man history I just anticipate he will always be a 5 ppg guy who can't score, because that is what we do.

Justin has to figure out how to at least be a semi threat around the basket. If he can't, he can't play real minutes. As of right now he is zero threat to score inside the 3-point line. He needs an offseason with Retin and Releford figuring out how to finish around big guys.

Generous foul. Thanks refs

Coleman is sneaky too. He's got good awareness and knows how to draw fouls. He got caught doing it earlier but normally he's good at pulling it off.

Tonight is the first time since the Oregon game he has played assertively around the rim. Hopefully he does more of that next year.
