Why do Louisiana residents on this website get so upset when a player leaves

The state of Louisiana to go play football somewhere else? What is wrong with you?
Just reading through the comments on the Lary Leo story about CamRob and DBU. I'll post some of my favorites.

My point is you rarely if ever see fan bases from other Conference states that get so angry at recruits who leave. As if Louisiana kids owe the LSU fan base something. It's so weird.
