You should have been born white. It's pretty great.

This is just a hunch and I'm not being sarcastic but I'll bet him being pissed probably had something to do with 4 cops taking aim at him for being broke down on the side of the road. The man was tazed without committing a freaking crime except the crime he committed when he was born apparently. I mean damn the list of things you can't do if black seems to grow by the day.....first there was the accidental shooting of Castilla, then the accidental shooting of the black guy with the autistic kids, now this. But meanwhile (most) white Amerikans have a problem with public figures brining attention to it via taking a knee. Its mind boggling really. An white man can go to another country and commit a crime vandalizing a business and then lying about it and he comes one and gets put on dancing with the stars and we keep hearing white privilege is a figment of our imagination lol. Crazy stuff

Donte jackson is lights out
coming from a former college DB...he is absolutely not. He cannot play in space whatsoever, he's like a sports car with no anti-lock brakes lol. Put him at nickle where he can benefit from his acceleration or let him play slot receiver where I feel he would contribute the most. He's a liability right now and teams like OM are gonna light his arse up esp. whiffing on tackles.

There are a few pretty good reads out there for those of you with Ph.Ds in minority social/economic issues.
the police have never been for the protection of the AA community from its beginning and fast forwarded to the bombing of black wallstreet in Tulsa OK. Go and listen to the NYPD officers that exposed their police chief a month ago with private recordings where he's heard giving orders to incriminate more minorities and also their accounts of not being able to arrest bankers on wallstreet smoking joints in public. That's why statistical numbers can't lone evidence.
I don't agree with some of the way's I've seen anger displayed but also every black person that does something stupid or protest isn't BLM. Whether you choose to ignore it or not, we've got racial and social class issues pretty bad right now because people don't want to converse about the issues only objectify and tell people how they should feel (i.e. Kaepernick sitting during the NA). I've never cared for the song because it was never written for my people (AA) nor the Declaration of Independence. How many presidents owned slaves lol. How did Columbus "discover" a place that was already colonized? Why aren't whites called European American? Why to slave trade population numbers far outweigh sailing logs, were many already here? Frick the history of this place, my only concern is the here and now for my family. That probably upsets some because my position isn't the same as yours but that's what people need to understand....we're all speaking from different positions trying to tell the others how to feel when we really don't have a clue. There are good people everywhere in every ethnicity, it's a shame we're always competing instead of working together.......all IMO of course.
quote:
In the Southern states the development of American policing followed a different path. The genesis of the modern police organization in the South is the "Slave Patrol" (Platt 1982). The first formal slave patrol was created in the Carolina colonies in 1704 (Reichel 1992). Slave patrols had three primary functions: (1) to chase down, apprehend, and return to their owners, runaway slaves; (2) to provide a form of organized terror to deter slave revolts; and, (3) to maintain a form of discipline for slave-workers who were subject to summary justice, outside of the law, if they violated any plantation rules. Following the Civil War, these vigilante-style organizations evolved in modern Southern police departments primarily as a means of controlling freed slaves who were now laborers working in an agricultural caste system, and enforcing "Jim Crow" segregation laws, designed to deny freed slaves equal rights and access to the political system.

At Cams game tonight. Had he not had a 40 yd run called back he'd have 2 rushing td's and 2 passing td's in the 1st quarter. They're playing a cupcake but still.....I'll tell you what though, the kids a helllll of a qb. I don't think he gets enough credit for his arm and touch on passes. He looks just as good as the 4 and 5 stars I've seen.
