I've read every article google can find that's been written since mid-december. I studied what he and his mom have said concerning what are the most important decision criteria to them and what they've said about UGA, UM & UA, especially with respect to those criteria. I've paid close attention to the in-home visits, the timing of what they've said, connecting the dots. I went on record a week or two ago saying I'm VERY confident he will go to Bama. No inside info. Just my take.

If I had my druthers I would want us to get Solomon as DT. Not really sure how good Mathis is but I know Solomon is a beast. Anyone has info on Mathis's talents or a comparison with Solomon please share. But if both want to come it would be a fabulous scenario.

The little I hear in Louisiana is Mathis is a smart kid and hard worker. Solomon more talented I would assume

For you recruiting nuts, I'm heading to Neville DT Phidarian Mathis' announcement this afternoon. I'll livestream it on periscope (you can watch on Twitter @JakeMartinOC). Mathis will decide between LSU, Alabama and TCU. Announcement will be around 4:30.
