Well that was dumb. I don't enjoy being right but I am and you know it.

Just to get this out of the way, what will be your sour grapes response if Taylor picks LSU? We know you have one.

And you screwed the pooch on exhibit A.

Exhibit A: Auburn's roster is right there w/ LSU/UGA

We aren't even ballpark LSU according to that link and it is for 16 not 17 so our leaving players + 2017 classes are factored in.

Our "ratio" used in that article will likely drop a littl to <.55with this incoming class. UGA will rise to >.6 while LSU will stay ~.66

Did you read the article? If your roster has more blue chips than not, you're in the running for a title. That's in the ballpark.

And did you actually calculate who UGA loses to graduation/draft and add in their recruiting class or are you guesstimating? Same w/ LSU.

We lose Adams, Lawson, Johnson, Holsey, Ford and 9 three star players, but bring about 12 or so 4* in this class. So our blue chip ratio should likely increase, slightly. Even if you factor in Jovon Robinson and Roc Thomas to that ratio, we still have a net increase in overall blue chips.

quick question Jang.

So, this would be assumed as our worst recruiting class under Gus and ranked around 15th or so. Obviously having questions swirling about his job security don't help the cause in bringing in elite talent. It's just another thing for other schools to use against us. SO, would you rather be a negabarner and call for Gus' head in the hopes that change is made, or would you rather openly root for Gus and support him in hopes that it helps his recruiting classes? You seriously can't have it both ways and say that you expect elite recruiting classes but then openly make it more difficult for that to happen, as a fanbase.

Georgia has three committed 3* recruits and one of them is Monty Rice and he's worth taking. We are not even in their God damn ballpark right now.

Recruiting is below average. What can we do?

One is the recently announced $28 Million band aid on the stadium that will remodel the locker room (that is big to recruits) and the recruitment space (MUCH NEEDED). We have been using a white tent to accommodate the recruits and their families.

Two we need a football operations building (that will come soon), new coaches offices, weight rooms, etc.

Those are what player see, they do not care about erector set on the north side endzone.

Yes

and call for Gus' head

I've never done this. More turnover is just fanning the flames. I do seek to hold our coaches accountable to their dumbass moves though.
-Replacing your best recruiter with a coach on training wheels.
-The Clemson game ( everybody is mystified about that. Including Clemson players)
-Not going after Evans but offering JF3 just because of one half.
- Not letting our backups throw the damn ball when we are up big
- Allowing the coaches like Garner the discretion to decide if he wants to go hard on recruiting that year or not.

So basically firing our HC is the wrong answer even though he isn't qualified for the job yet.

His failure to bring in pass rushers are the reasons why we have had to turn Casanova, Jeff Holland, and Moultry into pass rushers.

But don't worry, if Auburn is as smooth sailing as you think, if we end up ranked in the top ten this year in recruiting( composite) or this next football season, I will porn bomb the rant at the time of your choosing, and ride off into the sunset.

Well maybe Phillips flipping to LSU helps us with Taylor. I will only be happy if we close with Ryan Johnson and Tyler Taylor

LSU flipped the top middle linebacker recruit. Surely that helps with Tyler.

It's more the fact that you said he gets to tell Gus when he'll work hard in recruiting, and when he gets to slack off.

The minimum at this point. Anything else would be melt worthy. Need someone like Bryant to finish off the class feeling pretty good.

I don't keep up with recruiting much, but I just saw this. Coach O is known for his great recruiting, what he possibly tells these kids is beyond me. Which takes me to my question, Is Gus a great recruiter or is it one of his weaknesses?
