Making a pretty good run right now, recently scooping up the likes of :
'17 LA ATH Dylan Moses
'17 LA DL Tyler Shelvin(LSU Commit)
'17 AL LB Will Ignont
'18 GA CB Christian Tutt
'18 LA OT Dare Rosenthal(Bama Commit)
'19 TX OT EJ Ndoma Ogar
Can we make sure Harbaugh fails at his Spring practice ploy

IMG will implode at some point. Book it! It won't be long before all the high school coaches from all over will boycott them. I am pretty sure it is starting to happen already and quite frankly I don't blame them.
They swoop in and take the best senior players off those teams each and every year. We shall see.

They can survive with help from ESPN and Nike. They can be boycotted by the teams in the state which will hurt, but if they play all over the nation for just a NC every year they will survive.

I had forgot that Ignont was going there too.
That kid leaving Allen, TX is going to ruffle some feathers though. Texas folk take their HS Football seriously. They will not appreciate IMG coming in a taking kids away from them.

I can see a ban on playing Louisiana teams coming soon. I don't know that it will have any impact, but I can see it happening. Texas too, probably.

They are trying to get 5* 2016 DE Xavier Thomas to come down there as well.

Yea I can see schools refusing to play them. I mean look at their website. 19-3 in 2 years and 25 of 26 seniors are going to play D1 ball. other than power house teams like St. Thomas Aquinas or Mater Dei and the like, why would a HS team want to play what is basically a College team

They should be humiliated they actually lose games. Their coach must be terrible.
I hope this doesn't interfere with Ignont's eventual commitment to Auburn.

How do they get these kids? I remember playing them in baseball my senior year. They weren't very good, but had at least 1 guy I know of who made the Bigs.
How do they recruit these guys and what's the appeal to move to attend the school?

Their football facilities are as nice if not nicer than many FBS schools. They've also built this reputation as getting guys prepared for the next level, and it's probably nice for many of these kids to get out of their lackluster communities and attend a really nice private school.

If you're in a rough situation in HS, it'd be an easy decision I suppose. But if I'm a 4 or 5 star QB at Allen or pretty much anywhere else, I'd laugh at them if they tried to pluck me away. I can't even imagine leaving my HS my senior year to go play for them. Recruiting is pretty thorough now.

Our S&C Coach, Jeff Dillman, use to be the S&C guy there, so I'm looking forward to him opening doors with his connections for us.

I'm pretty sure they're opening another one in Greenville, SC are they not?

Dorman and Byrnes will be thrilled, I'm sure. There goes any chance of them getting back to national prominence.
ETA: As well as Spartanburg. Forgot about them.
At least with Bentley and Lattimore we have some pull at Byrnes.

I am unaware of this, do you have a link?

IMG is not that much of a step above Allen, however Allen is breaking in a new HC after 12 years of Westerberg.

This is what I am talking about. No way in hell would I have left my friends and teammates in my senior year of high school but there you go that tells you how much things are different now.
