Wait, what?

You somehow think one language triggered the internet revolution?

Our "death is imminent?" What does death mean to you? To me, it means going to a school whose entire history is predicated on a status as a second-tier program to the flagship university in the state. It means never winning anything of consequence in almost a century and counting. It means being an embarrassment to my state, the perennial butt of every joke Texans tell from infancy on. It means having an AD who goes $75MM over budget on a stadium then firing him. It means I base my entire worth as a program on the merits of other teams in my conference because I personally lack them altogether.
It means I call Longhorns "sips" and claim fake championships on the side of my stadium. It means I live in the past and when that doesn't work, I manufacture the past.
It means I live in College Station.
But most of all, death means I am an Aggie.

Did Texas play in a bowl game this year?

Yall know that this is not like the NFL, right? The shittiest record does not get a chance at the first draft pick.

Bjarne Stroustrup didn't graduate from A&M. The person you're replying to specified "alumni."

What, if anything, of note has he accomplished in College Station?

Otherwise, he's just another person who did well in a previous life who latched on to A&M to cash that check courtesy of nutgrabbing Aggie blowhard braggarts.

You know, like Sumlin and Hyman.

Serious question for the Aggies no flame, do you think the way Sumlin and the Administration “handled” Maizel is the root of all these problems. Johnny was a heck of a player but he continues to show to this day he has flaws in his character… A&M just turned the other cheek every time... and who know what other stories did not make the news. The autographs deal was handled with no regards to ethics.

That was the culture that was built. They attracted some good players, but several with that type of mentality...entitlements and other flaws. They tried to build a program on hype, gimmicks but no substance. The inmates ran the asylum from the start it seems. The better players and characters seemed to have been groomed by the previous staff.

Every time he acted poorly...I don't recall the details, this guy has had so many negative stories it is imposible to keep track.. and I know some are from the NFL... but never more so than the autographs.

No. The only thing Johnny did is maybe cover up Sumlin's incompetence.

Every time another one of Sumlin's recruits was arrested and/or in trouble. The "Swag" movement completely backfired. Look at your 2013 recruiting class. It's unbelievable. There are like 2 guys who made it out alive- your coach looked the other way on a litany of issues.
And yeah, Texas has had a really rough couple of years. But we cut the cancer out of our teams, often to the detriment of our overall talent. You celebrate cancer in College Station. Every time JFF gets arrested it's just publicity for your school. You're the Kardashians of college football, just replace the botoxed lips with open mouth breathing.
Fun watching y'all fall apart.
But next year right?!

No he didn't.
Not during his time in College Station.
Your recollection is flawed/tainted by his current situation with the Browns.
