Ah man, not calling them by their real name. What an insult! Maybe that's why you guys suck so bad in the SEC. Time to come up with creative nicknames for all the new teams that beat yalls arse every year

The name thing is really not that big of a deal. SEC fans have perferred nicknames for other schools as well:
Barners, Gumps, Corndogs, Ole Piss, etc.

They take calling them anything but "THE University of Texas" as a grave insult equivalent to a racial slur. When they played USC in the Rose Bowl in 2006, they were beside themselves that anyone in the state wasn't pulling for them. Of course in 2013, they were all mysteriously wearing Crimson and Cream during the Cotton Bowl...
Referring to them as just another "texas university" (little t, little u) makes them go apeshit.

A&M's first yearbook - the LONGHORN (20 years before they used that moniker). That's why it was "saw VARSITY's horns off"...their teams were called VARSITY.

I don't really think they care to come up with a nickname for a team that would have to win 45 times in a row to even the series. You arent relevant to your biggest rival and you aren't relevant in the SEC. I wish you'd go back to playing UT every year so they could put the JV team back in its place again
