Every year, we get super excited about players in the background/on bench/FR who we think will be game changers. Who are your guys for this year
Pick Rules:
1: Predict Player and level of breakout (good/AllConf/AllAmerican/Heisman)
2: Player must have started less than 50% of games unless you pick AllConf or better (If you select KJ/CarltonD better be AllConf or All American/Thorpe)
3: Multiple picks and FR commits/targets are allowed #Posibarnin

My Picks
1- Tony Stevens
Despite being super disappointing, Stevens has flashed some playmaking ability and shown improvement year to year from
to well he is there. With no obvious #1 WR to fill the Louis role, Stevens is going to step up and put up 2nd team All Conf type #s
2-Devaroe Lawrence
Everyone knew he was a project but after a year we thought this athletic kid wouldn't be pancaked and lost. Then came the second half of the season and Lawrence became a wreaking ball. While I don't see him putting up All Conference numbers, he ends up starting

Kerryon will be a breakout on the National stage - Reggie Bush type numbers.
I think one of the frosh linebackers of McBryde, Atkinson or Williams will breakout as a playmaker. One of them is going to have too

Byron Cowart- All SEC next season. He will start and the light will come on. Not many sacks but plenty of tackles for loss.

Ya but both guys were thought of as major liabilities/busts as JRs. I feel zero ragratz in these picks yo

Deshaun Davis is my future breakout guy if I was making a bold pick.
Kerryon will be introducing himself to a lot of fans throughout the SEC next year so I think he is the most likely to break out.

Freshman defensive end Byron Cowart, rated by some as the nation’s top defensive prospect last February, struggled early in the season to adjust to defensive line coach Rodney Garner. But he got more playing time as the season moved on and has been a standout in bowl practices.
“Coach G was tough on him,” Lambert said. “He’s tough on all of us, but on Byron he was really tough. He’s responded very well. I think next year he’ll be real great.”
