And this perhaps stands out more than anything else.

SEC Standings for last 3 Seasons:

Alabama 21-3
Georgia 16-8
Missouri 15-10
Auburn 14-10
Florida 14-10
Ole Miss 13-10
LSU 13-10
Miss. St. 13-10

This really shocked me at how dominant Alabama has been compared to the rest of the West.

We are all witnesses.

LSU found Saban before you so technically they win. And Fournette is better than Henry.

I'm glad you made this topic, I was wondering if Saban was a good coach.

For another year or two.

Enjoy it, soon you'll have a regular coach like the rest of us

Care to explain how Ole Miss, LSU, and Mississippi State, have missed a game during the last 3 seasons?

Last time I counted, there were 8 conference games played each season. (8x3=24; 13+10=23)

So because Saban landed at LSU before BAMA, the last 5 should be omitted?

I was undecided, too. This thread put me over the top. I think we'll keep the son of a gun.

I for one hadn't heard of Saban until this thread. Glad to see he is doing well for a relatively unknown coach.

Indeed this is so very true, Hoyt. This is something that even the L5U folks, UT folks, and Barn folks will tell their grandkids that they had the pleasure to witness one day. Their Bama grandkids will have so many questions and have so much old video to watch.

I have to agree. For the most part Saban has been good for the SEC period. But alabam or ANYONE will be hard pressed to find s coach near his work ethic and generally just being the best at this time except you could argue Meyer maaaaybe but Saban just knows his football. And s lace like Alabama has unlimited funds to spend as they please. I don't think he could duplicate the success at say Iowa.

Also AU being second in the west followed by....... Ole miss is a surprise. It's not L5U
