He actually is a really good receiver. I like his pass pro and catching skills.

I think he will be a first rounder and could be with a playoff team bc team don't jump up to grab RBs as early as they use too.

Yeah, I don't know about first round but he is probably as NFL ready at pass pro as any back over the last few years.

It all depends on who he gets drafted by. Teams don't draft RBs high anymore unless they are a type of player that will fit well into their scheme. I don't see him doing well in a Tom Brady/Peyton Manning offense. He could possibly do well in Carolina, but I imagine their focus will be receivers this upcoming draft. I guess what I'm getting at is most NFL offenses want a elusive compact RB that can get to the hole in a hurry. I'm sorry but DH isn't that type of player. His top end speed is really good, but it takes him a while to get there.

Not if Saban keeps running him 40 plus times a game he wont. Just look what it did to Earl Cambell

I don't love his feet but I love his speed for his size

He will be very good for 3 years...There are already too many carries on his legs...See Lacy, Richardson,(Ingram is a bust so won't even go there)

Do none of you realize that this is Henry's first season as a starter? He will finish his career with far fewer total touches than Fournette.

I don't see him being viewed as that big a bust when he does fail since I don't see him drafted until the 3-4 round. Slow, no burst, way to upright.

@1:42 - Presses the hole and cuts outside on a dime.

@1:52 - Shows great hip flexibility and quick feet to bounce the run outside. Hits full speed by his second or third step upfield (for the "he hits the LOS too slow" crowd).

@2:50 - Same

@3:08 - Breaks down multiple defenders in the open field

As an NFL scout this is all you're looking for from a back like Henry. When it comes down to it he's bigger than a lot of linebackers and faster than a lot of defensive backs.

Lolz. An NFL scout won't learn anything on those plays. On three of them the offensive line kept him untouched. It's weird you would use those plays to try and prove your point when it proves the exact opposite.

LF would still be drafted ahead of him if they came out in the same year and LF will make a better pro back.

5.8 yards a carry isn't too inspiring.

He will be good, but he got a frick ton of carries in high school and college to get the yards he got.

That isn't going to happen in the NFL

Jesus most of you idiots just talk straight out of your asses. Henry will leave college averaging 182 carries per season. Compare that to LF who averages 229, and tell us why you think Henry has been overworked.

Don't try and present facts Terry. Especially when you look at all the starting backs for the NFL and realize most had more carries (by a lot) in college than Henry has.

Some can't distinguish between long-term and short-term though, so they think that two 40 carry games spell doom for him for the rest of his career.

Fournette will be a way better NFL back than Henry. Book it my friend.

Neither will be very good.

Cook and Elliott will be substantially better than both.
