Florida in the Sugar Bowl would have been awful. They've been dog shite for more than a month. If you lose no games or just 1 game you can say "score board" but when you lose 2 or more you're relying on being viewed favorably. Florida just isn't right now. The huge asterisk by their wins under Grier don't help either. I doubt most Florida fans even want to see them in the Sugar Bowl.

UF was in the business of selling things before McElwain? Do you have a catalog or list of things that they were offering for sale?

If muschamp can take Florida to the Sugar it's no big deal.

As a Gator fan, I have no problem with this. We limped to the finish line with Treon, our O-Line issues and no field goal kicker. Ole Miss is the better team to represent the conference in the Sugar this year. Go Rebs!

And Florida destroyed Ole miss. And Ole miss lose to Memphis, and lsu beat florida, but lsu lose to Ole miss.

See how the transitive property works and why it's stupid to use? With that logic because Ole miss lose to Memphis but beat Bama Memphis >Bama

Ole Miss ended their year with two convincing wins. Florida lost their last two and went to OT against a terrible FAU team. Florida has trended down since their starting QB was suspended. Florida has no offense. Ole Miss vs. Okie State should be high scoring and provide good entertainment value for the average viewer. And at the end of the day, the SEC isn't very good outside of Bama and somebody had to go.

Thats ok, we dont mind watching a team we made our biatch on National TV play in the Sugar. The Treon effect has hurt this team since day one and while UF fans would pack the dome, i wouldnt think a huge audience would watch in tv.
So go Rebs, make daddy proud

The honest answer is that several weeks ago Will Grier was caught roiding out. He was suspended which obviously hurt their offense. Even worse was that the entire team had to get off the roids to avoid increased scrutiny. Over the course of the season they became weaker and weaker until all that was left was a band of pencil necked nancies. Even Coach Mac. Remember those earlier outburst of uncontrolled rage? Suspiciously absent by the end of the season even as his team was crushed by FSU and Bama and pushed to the limit by FAU. This is the truth that the media doesn't want you to know. Thank you.

Your buttburn over 38-10 won't change that outcome, no matter how much you keep bitching about roids. Ole Miss had a great season and deserves the Sugar Bowl but also earned that arse whipping in the Swamp by showing up thinking that they could roll their helmets out on the field and get the win.

Have you seen how awful FL has looked since Vandy? They aren't in the Sugar Bowl because they would completely and utterly embarrass the SEC, which by the way, they will do anyway. Michigan will hammer that team. Unless Treon learns to pass before then. And we know that won't happen...hell, he makes Brandon Harris look like Tom Brady.

You guys have no sense of humor. I like my version better. I actually like the Florida Michigan matchup better than Florida Ok State matchup.

I think the bowl selection committee was a little off put with Coach McElwain. It stems from the controversy surrounding the paternity test results when that Florida Coed said he was the baby-daddy.
