The foolishness of the committee. Please bring back the BCS and let these clowns go back to where they came from.

Because McElwain is a fluke brah.
One trick pony.
UF will be back in the seller next year.

First thing on a LSU fan's mind when he/she wakes up in the morning.. Ole Miss.

Ole Miss is peaking right now...Florida isn't....Ole Miss had it "FAU" moments during the middle of the season, not at the end like Florida

To put it delicately, y'all really sucked the last month of the season. Late FG to beat Vandy? Really. You needed OVERTIME to beat Florida Atlantic, one of the worst teams in the nation? Pathetic efforts vs. Florida State and Bama? You should be grateful for the Citrus Bowl.

maybe they feel that OM is a more complete team and that UF is lucky to have 3 losses for playing in the chitty east

The SEC office (in Birmingham) said they'd rather see Ole Miss (non-division winner) crushed by a BIG12 team than a division winner.

Ole Miss fans will be very excited
They'll buy tickets, shirts, and whatever else you put out front of that stadium.
Florida fans not so much
Many Florida fans are finally paying off the last bit of balances from those 2006 & 2008 title trips. It would take a national title trip for them to spend major dough again. Especially after the SEC title game expenses last week.
This probably weighed in on the Iowa -vs- Ohio St. Rose Bowl bid. Many Ohio St. fans aren't paying for a California trip after spending good money on two playoff trips last season.
