PM says Muschamp was on AU's defensive staff as late as Firday afternoon.

Feeling around the athletic department is he's gone to SCar.

Source says Malzahn is already searching for a replacement

So basically nothing new, but it does sound like more than pure speculation this time

If true, someone will owe us a buyout.

That's how I know it's not true.

No buy out owed by boom. IF AU made it to the title game he had to wait till Sunday. AU didn't make it, so no buyout due.

"Muschamp only owes Auburn a buyout of $1 million if he leaves before the end of the regular season or the SEC Championship game on Dec. 5 if Auburn advances to Atlanta this season"

His buyout ended last Saturday.

Hopefully AU announces TRob as DC in next day or so. Curious to see if Thompson goes with Muschamp

Cornerbacks coach Travaris Robinson

Other potential candidates to replace Muschamp are Auburn Bucks/strongside linebackers coach Lance Thompson, Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt and Florida State defensive coordinator Charles Kelly, who played for Pat Dye at Auburn in the early 1990s.

1)Charles Kelly
2)TRob
3)Pruitt
4) Anyone but Lance
