Loved me some Leonard Pope

Wasn't Davis a safety at Georgia?

Man forgot Bennett! I honestly considered Coutu. The strongest freaking leg I've ever seen in college

But just remember if we were to field this team they still would have lost 3 games. Dont ask me how. But thats just how things worked with Richt.

I think I gave Mimbs the nod for this, because it's the only great punter moment I ever remember:

Yep. He did start a couple of games at linebacker as a freshman, and even though he was technically a safety he often blitzed from a 3 pt stance on 3rd down.

I still think Davis and Sean Jones were the best duo of safeties in the Richt years.

Having andy bailey anywhere remotely near this list (plus mimbs at punter to boot) invalidates your entire list. Absolutely horrendous.

Not saying he belongs on the first team, but Kentrell Curry is a highly under rated DB IMO.

Also...in what universe is q. moses better than Charles Johnson?

Sean Jones better than either safety listed...blue hit hard but that's about it.

Odell Thurman? Ellerbe?

Justin Houston doesn't make the cut? Kendrell Bell?

and, in no plane of reality is JT Wall better than Brannon Southerland, nor Knowshon better than Chubb

Andy Bailey couldn't even make XP's.

Good list. If Chubb had stayed healthy this year I think he'd have been the second RB but obviously that didn't happen.

Damn, that defense is just nasty Bailey, Jones, Thurman and Ogletree at LB

All things considered our OL and WR production was behind other positions under Richt.

I'd say OL for sure. We've been pretty solid at darn near every other position.

We've had a few lean WR years, but we've also had some really stout ones too.

That's almost identical to the one I just typed up. (*Haynes at FB and Houston at DE)

I especially like the Odell Thurman and Paul Oliver picks.
