That 2003 defense had some talent

If that team wasn't so handicapped by a freshman OL, it might've been the most complete under CMR.

what does anyone ever remember about him?

and?

The question isn't "what play do peopple most remember by each player"...it's whose the best. Terrence is a top 2 WR in UGA history, he belongs on the list.

That OL lost all 5 starters from the previous year and gave up 47 sacks that year.

It is astounding to think that we could have potentially played for the national title that year. Let's assume a loss in DV as it happened. If we kept running Lumpkin in the 4th quarter in jax we potentially win. If Eli doesn't fall down and beat LSU we get them in Atlanta, and I doubt we would have lost to that ole miss team. 12-1 and SEC Champs and we're playing OU in the title game.

Crazy. Everyone mentions 02/07/12 as our best teams under richt, and they're right, but 03 wiht just adequate line play could have made some serious noise.

02, 03, 07 and 12.

God we should've pulled a championship out of one of those

Andy Bailey at PK is a joke. He was on scholarship and we didn't even trust him on PAT's he was so bad. He, honestly, would probably be the last person I'd take. I put Blair Walsh light years ahead of him, trailing far behind Billy Bennett.

I'm surprised nobody remembered Brandon Coutu. I honestly don't remember who I would take between the two, Coutu or Bennett. Wasn't Coutu the one who took over because Bailey was so bad?

I did and wanted to pull the trigger on him. Him and billy both made some super clutch kicks, and both could kick it from 55+

I guess I just went with bennett by default, no real reaosn.

03 was Richt's best coaching job, IMO. Absolutely dominated Clemson, Carolina, Tennessee, Auburn, etc. and lost 2 games basically in the final minute (Bennett missed 3 field goals in the first half of LSU).

Had they gotten some of the breaks they did the year before in close games, there's no question they're right there playing for it all.

Stafford over Murray?? Elaborate.

In was trying to account for differences in their respective situations. Like Stafford was 20 years old when he played his final game at UGA whereas Murray was 19 when he played his first game. Stafford played in years 1-3 of Mike Bobo as OC whereas Murray got to play in years 5-8. Can't go wrong either way, and if we're basing it solely on who put up bigger stats then it's Murray. I just always felt like when watching the two Stafford was more likely to make the play.

Nobody has David Greene on their list? Y'all crazy?
Or os it because Donnan recruited him? Left UGA as all time NCAA wins leader

Nah, he qualifies. I just think Murray's better. Always did. I'd have him over Stafford for sure

Odell Thurman... There's a name I haven't heard in a while. All the talent in the world just couldn't clean up his act
