They already know they can go frick themselves. The hate is mutual. The respect should be too. A lot of programs would have shite their pants and rolled over when Nick Saban took over and started another dominating era of Tide football but Auburn cares about their program and place as much as anyone. They'll pull the the plug on Gus next year if he doesn't deliver. They would be wise to get a defensive minded head coach. Not named Muschamp of course.

I covered a charity golf tournament a few years ago and spent a couple of hours riding around with Aundray Bruce. Full of auburn, that's for sure... but had me rolling in stitches. Seemed like a great guy.

There is no mutual respect, and never has been. That's what the Tennessee rivalry was supposed to be before Fulmer came along.
I was hoping LSU would become our "respected" rivals, but things are looking bleak on that front now.
Maybe Florida..

I wonder if doucebags like you have anything to do with that. I respect the hell out of the UA program and players past and present. its your pathetic fanbase that ruins it for everybody.

gonna have to add Tyrone Prothro and Kenny Stabler on offense. Prothro was one of the most gifted athletes I have ever seen. Stabler for not only his dynamic play but also because he was my grandmother's favorite player... hell probably favorite human being on the planet and she is mine so I have to include the Snake.

Lawyer Tillman was always my favorite Aubie. Tracy Rocker would be next. That guy was a terror on the field.

For some reason I have always liked the way Nick Marshall played the game. I am sure Au fan's missed it alot this year as well.

I thought Rolando McClain was one of the best college linebackers ever. The way he called the defense was impressive.

I like Blake Sims. He is a model for a type of kid every school should want. Guts it out, is patient, and ultimately gets his shot after overcoming a great deal of doubt and adversity.
On our side, this year I have been proud of Barber. He does not have the talent Robinson, but he works really hard on the field and takes a pounding trying to get hard yards.
Nothing wrong with liking players on the other team. Just hope they are very, very disappointed Saturday night.

Kurt Crain was a maniac....most impressive thing about him to me was that he practiced and played with a dip of Copenhagen in his mouth at all times...that's psychotic

Yes, this certainly sounds like someone looking to have a respectful relationship.
frick you, your high horse, your cheating assed program that likes to point fingers at everyone else, and your offensive genius that can't seem to figure out how to move the ball.

Growing up in Birmingham half your friends are Auburn kids
Of course there's mutual respect - we're all Alabamians all Birmingham boys
you hate the idea of the team not any actual person
we will get on places like here and say how different we are but we're all from the same place eat the same food go to the same churches and on and on and on

Well since this thread turned out to be a sort of non-troll fest, I'll say Philip Lutzenkirchen was an amazing man and certainly will be missed. Hated that he died. No parent should ever have to outlive their child.
To go along with that, Jay Prosch was one of the best fullbacks in the last decade. Always played hard assignment football.
I enjoyed watching Tre Mason because he was so nimble. Brandon Cox always had our number, so I respect him for that.
