There is no doubt that Bama has a great DEFENSE. Nobody can take that away from them. Ole miss would not have won if bama had not self destructed.

1- but... BUT! The weakness of the bama defense is the strength of MSU. MSU runs the ball differently than LSU. The runs that Bama defends the worst are the runs that MSU does the best... and those are set up by Dak.

2- Pass pass pass... Dak is the most improved QB for the second year in a row. The myth that he has improved BUT he has less targets is just a MYTH. Bear? Who is talking about bear? Your concerns are Ross, Brown, Hutch, Johnson, Dear and.... GRAY. This is the deepest position at MSU and nobody is talking about it.

3- Bama lag. I believe bama comes in flat, and MSU will NOT. Think Auburn at MSU last year.

4- Big time players need a big time game to help their draft. Dak, Jones, Bear, Ross and the DE... You are on their list.

5- Anybody watching both teams know that MSU has to stop the run. They will live, or die by that. The have the guys to do it.

MSU over bama... 35-19

Guarantee even if MSU wins this game, it won't be by 16.

Would be the largest loss in Saban's tenure at Alabama.

your reasoning is to be admired.

Just like the LSU game...

The last time both Mississippi schools beat Bama in the same year it was possible to divide by zero.

Alabama has not lost a game by more than 14 points in the Nick Saban era.

So, your prediction is MSU gives us the largest loss of the past 9 years?

Alabama has a great RUN defense. I-formation run-only teams beware.

MSU should come out in 4-5 wide set, ratchet up the tempo, and let's see what Bama really has.

No chance Bama comes out flat.

With no run threat and no back in? Dak will get murdered.

ratchet up the tempo

State is 108th in the country in Average Pace

Not if he's worth a damn.

Hence the "ratchet up the tempo" part

State has a path to victory. 5 wide with no threat of run and no back or tight end in to help protect ain't it.

About as easy as telling Boston College (#116), LSU (#114) or Arkansas (#83) to run up-tempo the whole game. It isn't what they do. You can't just show up and decide to go Baylor speed once a year.

Not to mention, it isn't like we haven't played teams that pace already this season

MTSU (#22)
Ole Miss (#38)
Texas A&M (#39)
Tennessee (#35)
