So this weekend CBS will use its 5th time slot for Alabama-Miss State, which will make it impossible for them to pick bama up again.
barring something crazy -- Bama vs. AU should be an ESPN night game slot, correct? What other times would be available?

Here are the big games of the day:
Ole Miss-Miss State
Alabama-Auburn
Clemson-South Carolina
Notre Dame-Stanford
UCLA-USC
Florida St-Florida
Ohio St-Michigan
Texas A&M-LSU
Penn State-Michigan State
To be honest, depending on how things go with the Georgia game and how Ole Miss, Miss State, and LSU finish out, we could have the early slot.

What is the full SEC slate for that weekend?
SEC Network will have 2 or 3 slots to fill, and since UGA/Tech is in Atlanta I don't see SEC Network doing that one.
Would not surprise me in the least to see the Iron Bowl as either the 4:00 or 7:30 SEC Network game and have Tenn/Vandy as the lead in.

ESPN has not been scared to slot rivalries like Ohio State and Michigan as the 11am game on ABC in the past when one of the two teams is bad. I wouldn't be shocked to see them do it to Auburn Alabama

I think its already been contracted as the 2:30 eastern time slot. Rivalry weekend doesnt have the 3:30et/2:30ct game

quote:They wouldn't pick it anyway. They'd pick UF-FSU given UF will be in the top 8 then fighting for a playoff spot & playing a top 20 FSU.

quote:ESPN 2 around 6 and that's only if there is a more attractive Big 12 game that Fox hasn't gobbled up yet to put on ESPN...I just checked. There's not. We'll be 6 or 6:30 on ESPN.
What other times would be available?

quote:I will bet my paycheck the ND-Stanford game is the ABC Prime time game. tOSU-Michigan has a contract to always be the 11 AM game on ABC. We're more attractive than Scar so we will get precident (likely 11 AM). UF-FSU will be the CBS game. Texas A7M will be unranked & Bama is ranked higher than LSU so that combined w/ our rivalry will take precident. The rest of the games listed don't have the playoff implications our game does. You forgot to list OU-Okie St but that will be the Fux game.

UCLA-USC
Florida St-Florida
Ohio St-Michigan
Texas A&M-LSU
Penn State-Michigan State
quote:The only thing that would make 11 AM a remote possibility is Mis St. upsetting Bama. If that does not happen we'll be the prime time game on ESPN.
