Pruitt came to UGAS under nefarious circumstances.....there is something about Pruitt that ain't right.....BVG is the same way except he was actually really good at UGA. Pruitt will be as welcome as Grantham if he stays 5 years. He is not capable of coaching the people he has. I remember when Grantham showed his arse at Florida his first year how he was a god around here......and he is LOUSY. Pruitt is a little better but not much......

I honestly don't have a single memory of watching Georgia without Richt on the sidelines. So if they do decide to tell Richt to step down its going to pretty unreal to me.

Ideal way to go out - leave things so fricked up that your successor is doomed to fail and you look like a genius by comparison.

More fair weather POS posters coming out of the woodwork...

Pruitt has done a damn good job with younger talent and having his defense on the field for an average of 70+ plays over the last 4 games and put in bad situations by turnovers and special teams.

GFY.

I agree with you on this. I have nothing concrete to back it up other than intuition, but something's off with that cat.

Pruitt is a motherfricking warrior. A throwback to Erk. Hardcore and doesn't give a frick.

Yeah, he has a winning pedigree and work ethic and is surrounded by a staff that is perfectly fine being mediocre.

Blood must be shed.

If Schottenheimer is replaced with a non-idiot I will not be completely bent out of shape if Richt stays.

This is in all likelihood what happens.

We will know how bad the situation is at Georgia in the next few weeks. If we play loose and win out, things are stable. If this shite show continues, get ready.

But you won't be happy, right? Richt sucks at hiring new guys, so it's gonna be more of the same bs. One day richt will be held responsible for his mistakes.

We really need to watch out for the team quitting....that is the next logical step.....and will go from bad to unbearable. Get behind early to UK and it could happen....

You bet. This team folds the tent at any sign of adversity.

This team isn't going to quit. I worry more about the boos that are going to start coming from the stands if we struggle due to more of the same.

I hope people are better than that, but I don't put it past them based on what I've witnessed at games lately.

Boos and empty seats would be like gasoline on the Butts-Mehre fire..

I remember lots of booing and airplanes with banners during the Goff years....it was UUUUUGGGGGGLLLLLYYYYYY

Yea I hope it doesn't come to the booing. I don't have a problem with empty seats because it takes a lot of effort and money to attend the games and so I can't fault someone for deciding not to make the trip for a variety of reasons.

But, if you do go, don't boo the team. Booing college players is something I've always disagreed with. And the 'they know we are just booing the coaches' line doesn't justify it. Even if you don't like the results, and I sure don't, these are still kids that have busted their asses to try and win for UGA. It just isn't happening right now.

If this at the least does not happen, I am going to conclude that the dysfunction runs very deep. I'll admit that an OC trying to run a pro style offense with bad quarterbacks is in a bind. But Shottenheimer has made some of the worst play calls I've seen in a single season, and has really shown no improvement. He frankly does not seem very smart.

I like Pruitt and think he's worlds better than what we had, but allegedly him leaving FSU was due to "mingling" with the college girls in Tallahassee while he was engaged/married...I think that was told when we first hired him! Pretty sure I read that on here or the Rant...I don't care who he mingles with (as long as they're above age) as long as he has the D ready to play!

Seems like an immediate solution would be for Richt go back to running the offense

If you can't pass, which we can't, any defense can load up against the run. Doesn't matter who calls the plays we are screwed.
