My people are telling me Richt has been issued a directive from on high to fix the problems on offense and end the dysfunction within his coaching ranks.

By my people, I mean the new AJC Dawg Nation article by Chip and Seth.... LINK...
quote:

To be clear, change is coming at Georgia. And we’re not talking about just the quarterback position or the offensive line.

quote:

There is general dysfunction and dissension not only within the team but also within the football staff.

Richt has been issued a directive to fix it, according to several sources familiar with the situation.

quote:

His ability to do that over these final four weeks of the season........will determine not only the futures of some of the coaches on his staff, but Richt’s as well.

Seems like an immediate solution would be for Richt go back to running the offense. Honestly if he did this I would be satisfied for ateast another year and gauge the teams performance at the end of next season. I honestly cannot see Schotty back next year with his performance. I like what Pruitt is doing and would like to see him here for a while.

Demote Richt to OC and move Pruitt up to HC?

I personally want Fuente from Memphis, only competition I could see in getting him is USC

Shittenheimer is gone...and Richt will be the OC next year unless he resigns. Shittenhemier is due about $1.9 mill for the rest of his contract. We won't pony up for a new OC until that bill is paid. That is the change that is coming....unless of. Course Richt decides to leave on his own....not out of the realm of possibility with all of the job openings ....VT and USC would both be good places for Richt....

Dumbest shite that's been said over the past 5 weeks. You have to be shitting me...

In other news, President Obama will be stepping down to take the Secretary of Interior.

So this blog by the ajc guys basically confirms all the rumors we have been hearing. I'm really concerned we are going to have Mark Richt next year without Jeremy Pruitt. This would be the worst case scenario.

I wish there was some substance to the Pruitt story.

I think he is saying he will call the plays like he did for his first seven years at UGA. He is not talking about stepping down.

I agree about Schottenheimer. He's gone. Dead man walking.

The Pruitt rumors sound like they could be true too. ABout him being unhappy for whatever reasons and stirring shite up with coaches and staff.

What happens if we lose both coordinators? Squatty is fired and Pruitt takes another job...

All signs continue to point to Richt going down with the ship and regime change to me.

I think the best spot for Mark Richt would be Virginia after they fire their coach.

He has made it abundantly clear he has no intention of calling plays. This is NOT his offense and he is too far removed. If people are gonna suggest dumb shite, they should at least listen to his pressers over the past 8 years. Remember when everyone wanted him to resume play calling in early Bobo years...yea. Now those same fricktards are begging for Bobo back. Funny shite.

I am not sure what to make of the Pruitt rumors. There has to be some truth to them and it seems like he is just frustrated with the current situation within the administration. I think they should do what needs to be done to keep Pruitt happy. I am satisfied with the direction of the Defense as of now.

Now, I'm wondering when exactly the directive from on high was sent to Richt to fix the offense and infighting...........

Was it sent before the Florida game? And if so, was it the reason for Richt's boneheaded desperation decision to start Bauta?

Butts-Mehre is on fire folks.
