@Dave_Matter: Mauk has been suspended for the rest of the season "for disciplinary reasons."
What is really going on here?

Wtf is wrong with this kid?

Jesus H, just kick him off and lets be done with it. Guess the rumors from Wednesday were true then, the kid needs help. This season has been a disaster from top to bottom on the offensive side.

There was a rumor on Twitter yesterday.
This account had more info a couple days ago. Joe Straus was also tweeting it.

I really hope it's not an issue that will effect the young mans future. I can understand kicking him off the team because of his actions but I do want to make sure that personally things are ok with him. Especially with all his family is going through.

I doubt he will be back for 2016.
Let's all move on and wish him the best.

Get suspended, get reinstated, go to Fieldhouse and get in a drunken brawl, he's got that part of JFF down at least.

We don't need to wish him the best, IMO.

Probably best for both parties just to cut ties.
Mauk needs a fresh start and we can't afford to keep him around.

I'm glad the weeks off helped him take stock and reevaluate his priorities, especially in light of his father's health issues.

Everyone handles their grief differently.
College football isn't all that matters.
Obviously he's not making good, mature decisions, but show me someone who always does please.

You can't tell me MM and his father didn't talk about Maty's need for behavior modification?
He's letting his father and his family down.
If I'm his family the next step I take is placing him in Betty Ford.

Like you, I have no idea what they talked about and won't assume I did.
You have no idea what's in the kids head, you have no idea what's going on with his family, and factor in the Drew lock mess with fans booing him and calling for lock when the players around him were the primary problem and lock has looked worse than Mauk. Easy to forget what he did for us eh?

Do you have kids?
The chances of them not talking about it are .0001.
Unless his parents are cowbirds and want society to raise him.

Wow. Talk about your poor choices. Best of luck to the kid. Thanks for the memories (the good ones anyway) and hope he gets things straightened out.
