I don't really see anything I disagree with in your assessment.

Solid assessment.

If LSU can use its quickness on the defensive line on first and second down, they can generate a ton of negative plays. Henry not a guy to make someone miss with his quickness.

The real gotcha does seem to be ridley and mullaney over the middle on long crossing routes. LSU secondary seems to be suspectable against them. Plus their pass rush has not been as good as years past

LSU is due for a win.

However, I think it may have to be our one drop next year.

LSU's pass rush is much better than the 2013 and 14 teams. Coach Orgeron has the dline playing way better.

Yeah, it seems like you guys have some disruptive guys at the ends. Key is a beast, and can definitely get the QB.

He's gonna be a good one for the Tigers. I worry about him being on the field against a physical team like Alabama though because he weighs 230 lbs at most.

I expect to only see him in obvious pass rush situations.

Good assessment.

I think the biggest key to this game will be which offense will be able to have success on 1st down. This is something Bama has struggled with all year, unfortunately.

All I know is that if we win I'm going to be talking so much shite that I might get banned for the first time ever.

If we lose I might just place a self-ban, because this place will be UNBEARABLE. Probably worse than kick 6.

Exactly this. Many of the LSU fans disagree that they will melt if they lose. If LSU loses the entire rant will explode. It would be glorious.
But if Bama loses I'd be gone for awhile. Either way the board will be unbearable for non-LSU/Bama fans.

Yeah those LSU Rant posters are coming unglued...along with the Bama #4 haters...you've been there and seen it, it is a cesspool of mindlessness now. Reasoning is a big time stranger too!

Part of the confidence comes from having Kevin Steele as a coach.
LSU fans are convinced this gives them an edge because Steele will know what plays Kiffin like to call in various situations.

Maybe it's a plus, maybe it's a negative. Maybe Kiffin knows how Steele likes to set the defense and can exploit it?

I feel good about this game for the first time in awhile but at the same time think we lose by 3. LF might get to 100 yards only because he'll get alot of carries. Either way i am pumped as all hell for this Sat. Going to be a good one whichever way it goes.

Winning on 1st down is going to be very important for the LSU D. I don't like the idea of yall pounding Henry at us all game.

For the LSU O, Harris has to make shite happen on third down. We can't afford to eat too many 3 and outs.

I started out at Ole Miss but I'm a senior at LSU now. So yeah.

I grew up a Gump.

You might be the most confusing fan in SEC territory.

Grew up a Gump, started at Ole Miss, finishing at LSU.

I also started a thread on the Tiger Rant asking our fans to stop all the whining about refs before the game is even played. It is not going well.

The only thing I feel confident about this game is the winner should be the projected odds on favorite to win the NC.
