Another great chance to get to 5-0 if we can beat Arkansas

And a bye week before Bama with a cupcake before LSU

It's not bad

And yes, I realize Ucla isn't a given but Sumlin's track record in this sort of game says we should be favored heavily

Fixed that for you, Sarge.

I know it was an honest mistake so it's all good.

ETA: A friendly suggestion from a team that plays the Vols every year....bring cotton, ear plugs, corks and put your fingers in your ears bc those idiots will be playing Rocky Top about every 3 minutes or so. Be warned...if you don't take the above precautions, you risk severe damage to your mental health.

Yup! I guess I knew it before but I purged it from my brain. Now it's back, and still ugly as hell.

I don't get the problem? If we are going to give a cupcake 1.5 million to play us, why not give it to our brothers down the road?

Right!

For example Prairie View currently has an RPI rank of 178 and SOS of 217.

Contrast that with, for example, Ball State at 125/93. Nobody wants to see that mauling. It is meaningless.

Yeah but they're probably going to bring their band, so it'll even out.

It costs an extra $1M to play an FBS team these days

UCLA - If there's one thing that Kevin Sumlin does right, it's smash overrated teams in season openers. (WIN)

Prairie View - (WIN)

at Auburn - I don't like the timing of this one. They're either going to be extremely high after beating Clemson in week 1 or extremely low. They have a better opponent the week prior than we do. Right now, I'd say (TOSSUP)

vs. Arkansas - No Brandon Allen + Bert still the coach = 5th straight win over Arkansas (WIN)

at South Carolina - Not sure what they'll look like next year, coaching staff or players. (TOSSUP)

Tennessee - The Volunteers have an extremely brutal stretch right before us, having to play Florida and Georgia in back to back weeks. Still, we have Jake Spavital as OC so...(TOSSUP)

at Alabama - No. Not going to happen (LOSS)

vs. New Mexico State - Don't know if they'll break the longest losing streak in college football before playing us (WIN)

at Mississippi State - Until I see a decent quarterback for them not named Prescott, I don't see anything to make me think they'll be that good. (WIN)

vs. Ole Miss - No Tunsil, Nkiemdiche, or Treadwell, but we still have Spavital (LOSS)

vs. UTSA - (WIN)

vs. LSU - No commentary needed (LOSS)

I see 9-3 as best case, with 6-6 as worst case as long as Jake from State Farm is still the OC and we still do our "annual change quarterbacks midseason" routine.

Eyeing UCLA and Auburn games (maybe Bama instead). Can't wait to go the Rose Bowl and Neyland in 2017.
