Richt's 2007 Celebration vs Urban's 2008 Timeout

Which rubbed it in to the other team more?

I'm bias towards 2008, Georgia scores its first TD of the game to pull the score to a respectable 49-10 in the closing minutes and Time to Die fakes a knee on the kickoff to get a big return (almost breaks off a TD) and Urban proceeds to call timeouts to prolong the already 4 hour long blowout.

One was a coach making a conscious decision to be a dickhead.

The other was a coach who had lost control.

The 2007 celebration was certainly more shocking.

I don't think many UGA people gave a shite about the timeouts, tbh. It was fair.

The timeouts.

The Mickey Mouse celebration was just embarrassing because it came on the heels of the dawgs stomping on Vandy's midfield after eeking out a win.

Georgia is vastly underrated as a trashy, classless, POS program and fanbase. People praise Mark Richt for dismissing shite head thugs--why isn't he admonished for letting this POSs on the UGA campus in the first place ?

The celebration was bad because it was unwarranted - we weren't reacting to something UF had done.

The timeouts showed worse sportsmanship, imo, but it was a retaliation thing and didn't break any rules. I would have loved it if we had done the same thing in that position.

Given what we know about the circle of trust and the thugs on that Florida team, Richt is lucky he didn't set off a brawl that would rival the Miami players swinging crutches or the FIU guys swinging helmets.

Richt orchestrated the celebration. He told the offense to go celebrate in the end zone--the players on the bench just followed their lead.

If Moreno wouldn't have actually crossed the plain in 2007, it would have been the funniest thing to ever happen in the history of sports.

2007 celebration was a ballsy, in your face "frick you we gonna beat that arse" thing that took place in the first quarter...the fact that it followed a TD drive of nothing but runs right at UF made it better. .the 2008 timeout was just Urban being a dick but only once the game was over.
