I Feel Sorry For Auburn

I don't think anyone expected such a decline in a good football program that we've seen with Auburn. I thought that Muschamp was a great hire, one of those coaches who are great assistants but not quite up to HC abilities.
Now there's no hope for the remainder of the year (probably at least a couple of more losses) for the Aubbies and they have to watch yet another year of Bama being the premier football program in the state.
On top of that, they have a few years of rebuilding, possibly with an entirely new coaching staff. That'll adversely affect recruiting for quite a while too.
It'd be exciting if Auburn would open their purses and hire the Memphis coach, but I'm not sure if he'd want it.
Hopefully, Auburn will be back sooner than later, it makes for a much more interesting SEC season.

It's Sunday. You are supposed to be protecting us from demons. The demonic realm doesn't take break so neither should you.
What are you? Crazy?

You dumb. None of the coaches are going anywhere.
Fans aren't happy, but we see a team that has gotten better each week since MSU and is still fighting. We can with live with that right now. This isn't the 2012 staff and players.
We will be fine.

It's football. You have to be able to take the good years with the bad. 2 years ago i was sitting in the Rose bowl watching my team play for a NC. We have found our QB, we just need the WR's to start catching balls and we will be good. Defense needs improvement but muschamp will build that. Don't feel bad for us, we will be back.

Im sure the next Cam is just a check away.
The SEC Storied: Who Wants to buy a QB edition all but ignored Cam as a part of the 2010 team.
Stress was on how "they did it as a family" per Gus.
Pffffttt.

He was.
We need some players on defense, and Sean White is legit. So don't feel bad.

Anyone that thinks Auburn is dead didn't watch the game on Saturday.
The defense played well until the OT. Sean White looked like a championship caliber QB for most of the game. The running game has obviously come together.
If it wasn't for 8 drops (mostly from our #1 receiver who is a senior) and a slow, slow start in the 1st quarter, Auburn probably wins that game well before OT.
There's something up with the player development. That is concerning. But in terms of coaching, the offense is getting better (Malzahn) and the defense has improved as well (Muschamp).

Last year at this time fools were writing Les Miles off. Gus is a good coach. Given time he'll have success.
