Taking all the pictures of smoking cigars after Vols win will hurt you in the long run. That type of behavior will motivate every team Bama plays. Remember what goes around comes around. Nick has sure changed. He would have never been caught dead glorifying a win by taking pictures.
You do realize that Bama and Tennessee have been doing this for decades, right?
And that we took tMercyknee on the five yard line at the end of the game, right?
Of course you didn't, because you're dumb.

Wasn't Saban motivating his team in 2001 or so based on AU doing this?

Come on bro...It's a tradition.

Does Tenn smoke cigars when they beat Bama? When they were beating Bama.
Or is this just a Bama thing
I've always understood that the winner does, whichever team that might be. I'm going to a local retirement home soon, so I'll ask if there are any UT fans there who can confirm that UT does it too.

We will self report to the NCAA at years end. Don't worry...

I bet if LSU wins in two weeks you will celebrate by smoking a big fat dick, and no one on tRant will notice.

I think LSU is associating it with what AU did many years ago.
Difference is that it's apparently a tradition for this game.
It wasn't done on the opposing teams field.
I see no issue with it but I never heard of this tradition before this thread.

Jim Goostree, Alabama's head trainer for about 50 years, started it back in the 50s.

Good lord, who cares if the winner smokes cigars in that game. Absolutely no motivation for future opponents. "I wasn't really into this game, but those scumbags smoked cigars after winning. We will make them pay" PLEASE
Posted on 10/25/15 at 1:48 pm to tjbutler
Its traditional. You might understand if you had a rivalry

I had an 8-5-8 Arturio Fuente myself.

My sources tell me that they weren't cigars. They were blunts. Which means that Mark Richt has now lost control of Nick Saban, and therefore the Bama lockeroom.
