Dabo Swinney is the prime candidate to take over Bama after Saban

A year ago I would never want him near our program but he has proven himself to be a solid head coach and I think he could win a title at Bama. Plus I bet he would love to come back to his school and win big for them.
I bet you can't name one other realistic option that would be better than Dabo after Saban.

Sam Fisher is licking his chops at the opportunity to kill your father.

As much as people like to poke fun at Dabo, he's been a great hire for Clemson.

Seriously, you killed your father already. Why did you have to rape the corpse?

Dabo would be the perfect sacrificial lamb after Saban.

He is proving to be an enigma. So douchey and I keep expecting him to fail, but he keeps putting in very solid work. Like you said, he has actually been a very good coach for Clemson.
Still don't want him. I think he could get chewed up and spit out at Bama unfortunately.

Kiffen needs to prove himself to beable to stabilize a program and field a defense.
Dab has had Clemson on the map for 5 years now and now he is fielding salty defenses year in and out.

Swinney hasn't been much better than the guy he replaced.

Why in the world would anyone want to follow Saban at Alabama?

No one will. Bama is closing down the football program when he leaves.
On the bright side, LSU will finally get a win against them.

Well there you have it...put Saban in a pine box & ship him to West Virginia.

I disagree. I don't think Bowden ever won double digit games in 10 years. Swinney has gone 10-4, 11-2, 11-2, 10-3 the last four years and looks like he will make it 5 in a row of 10+ wins this year.
He has raised Clemson a level from where Bowden had them.

Doubt Dabo would leave Clemson for Bama unless his relationships at Clemson were not good.
