Verne is just old and forgetful, but Gary is not that bad. I do not understand why they hate these guys so much. I also like Todd Blackledge to explain the X's and O's as well as Jessie Palmer.

I'm hopelessly biased, as Verne was the Cowboys guy on the ABC affiliate in Dallas when I was a kid. So I love Verne. Danielson clearly has a bias (I can't believe any Bama fan would vote for this petition) but once you get past that I think he also does a good job.
Folks getting worked up about those two I would guess need a hobby.

Can we petition to shorten the commercials during a CBS broadcast.

Gary gives in-depth analysis about stuff most casual viewers would never even notice. It's not always positive, so people get butthurt, wait for Verne to trip over his words once during a four hour broadcast, and use that as proof theyre both over the hill and need to go.
Been listening to this on message boards forever. I also listened to Dave Flemming and Mack Brown on ESPN last night --now THAT was not much fun.

Verne is legit terrible. He plays favorites every game and botches big calls.

Real football fans don't bitch about who is announcing the game. I'm cheering and yelling through most plays anyway to hear a GD thing.
