Not many coaches can get that much traction from one division championship.
Joseph "Yellow Kid" Weil would be proud.
Enjoy the retirement, Coach.

You have a mental block from his Vol ownage of the 90's? He's not revered for his time at SCU

His south Carolina teams were the only ones the poors can beat.

He should be, SC was nothing before Spurrier.

He took Travis Carroll off of our hands. Thanks coach.

1 Natty in 25 years. Not exactly the stuff legends are made of. He always wanted to be mentioned in the same breath as Osborne, Saban, and Pete Carroll but doesn't have the resume. So long Steve, some of us won't miss your overrated arse.

This, his jealousy is showing. I'm sure to Spurrier, the tears are delicious.

You're truly a freakin' idiot.
Unlike UK who has great games against no one, UT has had some truly great games against Spurrier. Some wins and some losses.

So you have proven to be a another orange neck with little knowledge of football. Nice work if that is what you were trying to prove. Steve is more man than you will ever be...ask your mother.

These days, if someone did at UT what Spurrier did at USC, they would rename Knoxville after him.

Says the adult "man", who had to edit his b1tch of a post to try and save some face and managed to look like an even bigger douche.

Bama fans sure have respect for the guy. Stallings was a very good coach and went toe-to-toe with him for years but we always thought CSS was a step above at Florida. And as much as I hate to lose one of the funnest games I ever went to was the 2010 USC/Bama game in Colombia. We got cussed at by kids and old ladies, shoved around, and drinks and food thrown on us. You would have thought we were in Baton Rouge. But the atmosphere was electric and anyone that can do that in Colombia, SC has got to be a great coach.
