Agreed. The first team that wises up and snatches Fuente out of Memphis will be getting a great young coach. He's done a hell of a job.

i still think Butch could be good if he cleaned house and hired some new coordinators (which is highly unlikely) but if not then Fuente would be an extremely appealing option.

Butch Jones beats Alabama this year, reestablishing some faith in his regime on Rocky Top.
Later that week, video proof surfaces of his physical altercation with a player.
UTk fires Jones for cause and calls Chavis and offers him his dream job--something they have never done (for some reason).
Chavis bails on tamu the week before the LSU game, leading to a fantastic meltdown.

Not a single one of those things has a chance at happening.
Tennessee gives Butch one more year, before firing him after 2016. They then want Gruden or Kelly, but both turn them down. Ignoring Justin Fuente, they settle for another bush league coach.

This is true. But Chavis could be on his death bed and would crawl back to Knoxville to be the HC there. They never called him before, which is puzzling considering their last two hires.
