LOL.

When will you realize that most coaches other than superstars like Saban and Meyer will have a few bad years. The answer isn't fire your coach every 3 years and start over.

Allow your coach time to build a program.

For fricks sake y'all are stupid. And remember...Auburn isn't Alabama and Malzahn isn't Saban. You can't afford to start over every three years.

They can't accept that.

I'm not even saying I blame them, but they will always strive to match Bama.

Not all. I do not want him fired.

I do think he needs to let Lashlee go. It is not because I dislike Lashlee, I just feel he needs an OC with more varied experience with the offense and a perspective that can add to the offense. I do not think Lashlee can do that since he has pretty much spent his entire coaching career with Gus.

The biggest problem for teams like them is that the "derptard" in BR hasn't had those years so bad such as this that the "Genius" on the plains is having.

No where even close.

Even their water boys are unprepared for games.

So you're saying there are fans that overreact and say dumb shite?

This is new and groundbreaking.

Let's look at the record and see what it says.

1992 - forced out Dye, brought in Bowden.
Result? 11-0, 9-2-1. Won 20 straight games.

1998 - forced out Bowden, brought in Tubbs.
Result? 1999 was meh, but then won the west in 2000 and tied for it in 2001.

2003 - forced out Tubbs for BMFP, but jetgate happened.
Result? 13-0, SEC title and should have played for the natty.

2008 - forced out Tubbs again, hired Chiz.
Result? Meh 2009, 2010 BCS champs.

2012 - forced out Chiz, hired Gus.
Result? 2013 SEC champ & BCS title game appearance.

Counting jetgate, they run off a coach every 4/5 years and then see immediate HUGE success. 8 west division titles, 3 outright SEC titles, 3 undefeated seasons, and 1 natty.

In a nutshell, most folks buy a house and accept that there's going to be ongoing maintenance. They don't like maintenance. If the toilet clogs, they just sell the dump and buy a new house.

Seems odd to most folk, but there's no denying it works very well for them.

Permission-only team boards everywhere are like that last gulch in the heart of Appalachia where the same family has been incesting and moonshining and mudding, sometimes all three simultaneously, for twelve generations, getting uglier and uglier while the livestock gets prettier and prettier until you have Cousin Jeb and Aunt Bossy the Cow testifying on Sunday that the Lord a-tol' them both that it was time to stop screwing their sisters and start screwin' their sister's pets and, well, that's the story of why we shouldn't judge a fanbase by their message boards. The end.
