Quincy Carter had that problem when he was QB at UGA and he managed to make it to the Cowboys for a while. Mauk might should contact him and find out how he cleaned up.

Do you watch football, he is in no way a great QB. He's mediocre at best. Now on a side note if he has a problem sniffin' the white lady, hope he gets the help he needs.

Rumor has it he's been a druggie since he arrived on campus??? Miz doesn't do drug tests?
Coke isn't in your system very long, he'd literally have to be tested within 48 hours of doing it.
Also if it is a drug related suspension, this would be his 2nd failed test. The first one does not result in a suspension per Mizzou's conduct policy.

Do you guys think your offensive troubles are Mauk's fault? Before whatever happened this week.
What was the general talk about the offensive problems?

Talking a lot of shite for a team that's about to lose to Arkansas

Carter was insanely talented.

The offensive problems were we had an inexperienced group of running backs in place of our starter. Coupled with an offensive line that has a hurt center and multiple players at new positions.
Now if you can throw the ball, these problems would not be so bad. But Mauk has been terrible in the passing game this year. His vision and awareness have been awful. He's throwing ducks all over the field.
So our shite running game was exposed even more by teams who were forcing us to throw, but since Mauk was playing so poorly, we couldn't do shite.
Lock drove down the field every time he had a possession. I thought it was pretty obvious that the biggest issue on offense was Mauk.

All of them? No. A big chunk of them? Yes.
Mauk was playing like shite. Lock is the better player, even now. He'll make freshman mistakes of course but no doubt we got better with the switch.
How much better? We shall see, but I think a big part of our offensive struggles had to do with teams knowing how to play Mauk and it wasn't difficult to do. Up to this point we've been GP's worst offense. We have way more talent than that.

Isn't his dad fighting cancer right now?
Hopefully, Mauk can pull his life together.

I get that. Guess there are a lot Mizzo fans looking forward to seeing Lock take first to last snap offensive snap. Will be interesting to see how it works out.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Yup.
Say what you will, but a young man whose dad and lifelong coach is fighting cancer coupled with tremendous pressure of a team with WRs who can't catch, an O-line that crumbles and a MASH unit at running back, and a fanbase and campus all blaming the QB and clamoring for his touted young backup to take over, all coming to a head with a loss at Kentucky...look, it's not too hard to see a young college kid doing something really really stupid to take the edge off over the weekend.
Who knows what his past history was with it, if that's what happened, but we all know plenty of high school kids next door and college kids in this country who have had problems of this kind. As others have said, if this is what has happened, main thing is to wish him and his father well and hope he gets help.
