One of the roughing penalties absolutely was a bad call. I don't think we scored on that drive, though. Heck - even the legit roughing penalty didn't hurt y'all, since we missed the FG.
I didn't see the block in the back on the 40 yard score, but it might well have happened.

I watched the replay.
If you watched the game replay, and were honest with yourself, then you would know that Skipper moved before Hall jumped into the neutral zone. It's an objective fact, and anyone who watch a replay of the game and watched the play in real time, looking at Skipper in the initial play, would see it. On the replay of the play, they did not show the initial movement.

I think one of the plays Bielema was upset about was the long pass to Josh Reynolds where he thought one of our DL was dragged to the ground with no call even though we got called for holding all night

Wasn't Bert bitching about the officals after the Tech game? He also made the statement that he would be glad to get back to SEC officals....then bitches about them.....if I did not dislike Arkansas fans so badly, I would almost feel sorry for them. You are stuck with the laughing stock of the conference .

We've had a history of refs getting suspended after our games, we're used to it lol

There is holding happening on every play. I really don't know prompts the officials to throw the flag for that when they do.
Or at least what appears to me to be holding. I don't know if this is some obscure interpretation of the rule, or what. You know, kind of like what constitutes a catch now.

The only reason it looked like Ratley blocked in the back is because the Arkansas player TURNED right as he was contacted. Ratley pushed him on the left shoulder.
A block in the back is usually called when both hands are in the back, like the Brandon Williams block during the Wilson interception...which was called properly.

One of the roughing calls was BS; however, Arkansas was holding - and not just "normal everyday holding that the refs let go", but desperation, "OMG, I can't stop this guy holding" - every down. And Dan Skipper. Jeez. Guy's like Arkansas Kryptonite and he's on your own team.

When I was playing high school football back in the 80s, the offensive linemen couldn't grab the defensive linemen with their hands. That was pretty much an automatic penalty. Apparently now they can do that as long as they keep their hands within the torso of the defensive player's body.
You pretty much have to grab a defensive lineman around the neck or waist, or use blatant wrestling-like take him to the ground takedown to be guaranteed a holding penalty.
Otherwise, it seems kind of random to me.

The first roughing the passer call was the only bad call IMO

Yes you have. You held Myles Garrett the entire game. It was pretty bad.
I'm not saying we didn't get some calls our way, but holding Garrett was essentially the only way you stopped him from getting to your backfield at least 3-4 other times.

The 2 I saw were the missed holding on the long pass where they tackled our DE from behind and the horse collar on Drew Morgan.
If we lose another WR...

From what I saw, the holding calls against Arkansas were woefully inadequate. Take a look at the Garrett sack that caused the fumble. His jersey was stretched out by a foot or two from a hold. No call. There were several blatant holds that were never called. It happens.

I watched the replay several times and it sure looks like the hand was on the shoulder

Why would LSU fans want to comment on this? Oh wait, other fanbases cry about officiating too. Proceed.

Lol at any hogs complaining about officiating. Myles Garrett was egregiously held multiple times in that game. Kirkland was holding on for dear life on the late strip fumble he caused on Brandon Allen and he still couldn't stop him. Bert needs to quit whining, it's embarrassing.

So were our DE's and they are no Miles Garrett
