People are disappointed about him not throwing over 100 yds yet , the kid is talent was the 2nd ranked dual-threat QB coming out of school in 2014 , he threw for 3,172 yds and 34 tds while rushing for 1,048 yds and 15 tds as a senior in high school the kid is talented, but why complain if our running back is putting up Hugh numbers ??? His time will come , and too be clear it's not him it's the play-calling and what the coaches and him sees in the defense to make the call ...

High school numbers mean absolutely nothing. He's played fine but everyone wants to see him perform when (if) the running game is slowed down. I agree though, he doesn't need to pass for 100 yards when the run game is clicking.

So far he hasn't had to prove himself. If LSU can run the ball as well as they have so far, he might not have to. I don't think that will be the case in every game. He might light it up or he might suck. We will find out.

He missed 3 or 4 open WRs BADLY against us. And he did very little to beat us. Unfortunately LF was a one man wrecking crew

Will withhold judgement until he faces a decent defense.

Do you need the validation of the Rant to feel good about your QB? If you're happy with him, who cares?

Are we seriously going by high school stats now?

Unfortunately you were playing Auburn last weekend. LSU is probably 5th best in the SEC right now, and it's because you don't have a good QB.

We've seen flashes of the arm talent, but he hasn't been forced to make any clutch throws yet.

He's doing what needs to be done to win the game. He's not turning it over and making plays with his feet to keep the defense from keying on #7 all game long.

Harris ran the ball well. Nice pass on that out route to the right sideline that was incomplete.

Mistake on the pass that hung Jeter up. He made a nice catch but Harris can't lead him into a hit like that. Also Harris should've completed that pass in the back of the end zone but he threw it high.

That TD pass to Jeter was BIG TIME accurate! Small window between the sideline and the trailing defender, and Harris put the ball right in Jeters eyeballs... With both he and Jeter in an all out Sprint. The only thing Harris needs to work on is learning to get mid-level passes out before the break and to not overthrow so much. BUT, he is getting exponentially more comfortable, and when he does get that adrenaline in order, he will be DYNAMITE!

He has shown flashes of being a really good QB and he has also thrown a few ugly balls as well. The bottom line is that he hasn't done anything to get us beat, which is priority #1. If we want to be serious NC contenders he's going to have to do more but we've got a little bit of a soft spot in the schedule coming up for him to continue to develop.
