Saban has coached in the SECW for over a decade and never had a losing record. When Myer was in the SEC he was pedestrian against the West. He padded his stats with auto wins vs Tenner, Vandy and UK. He struggled against the west though with multiple loses to Bama, Auburn, and LSU. He also lost games to Ole Miss and Mississippi state. The only time I've seen the SEC publicly reprimand officials is after the screw job against Arky that year. He is a all time great coach, but is not cut out for the weekly grind like Saban.
I would like to see him coach at one of the SECW schools with resources like Bama, LSU or Auburn.

They are equivalent to me. But I give nod to Saban because he only wants to coach in the SEC (harder). Meyer is damn good though.

Saban is better than Malzahn.

I have no dog in this fight and I disagree. Meyer ran from the SEC with his tail between his legs because it was too hard. GOATS don't run like cowards.

Who's the bigger attention whore. You or Buga?

At least we're in agreement that it's not Malzahn.

Urban Meyer is a great coach but what has he had to build since leaving Utah in 2004? The man dropped into Gainesville in 2005 with a crapton of talent already in place. Not to mention the fact that it was and is still one of the easiest schools to recruit to. The only problem for Meyer is that he couldn't sustain due to the SEC grind. He does not have the work ethic that other coaches in this conference have to have in order to be successful. Once the heat got too much for him he skedaddled to "spend time" with his family.
Never mind the fact that he didn't spend much time with them as he was flying all over the country working for ESPN in 2011. And then the dream job of a lifetime opened up: Ohio State. A school that, like Florida, had a freaking roster filled with blue chip talent. What was better for Meyer is, with a few exceptions here and there, the Big Ten was (and still is) a joke of a conference.
Meyer does not have to work nearly as hard to recruit or win ball games up there in the Big Ten. His team only has to show up to win 10 or 11 of those ball games in any given year. He had it pretty easy in Florida and now is living a life in paradise with OSU.

Two of the best, but I would definitely take Meyer, but have extreme respect for Saban.
