Don't know how many of you used to mention his name as a replacement for CMR back in the day (there were quite a few BTW)

Any of his supporters want to step up and explain?

It's Washington State. That's a hard, hard place to recruit to and win.

Your end-zone dance needs some work.

Mike Leech is human slime and a Jabba the Hutt wannabe. I don't ever want him close to a Georgia uniform and I'd be absolutely fricking disgusted if he's ever a representation of Uga.

Yes they did. Guys like Leaf don't just show up at Washington State every day. Paul Wulff left WSU as the worst power five program in the nation. I am a little surprised it hasn't worked out better for Leach there, but he has basically had to build from nothing at WSU.

Well,he'll have PLENTY of time to right the ship. There's
no way WSU can buy em out.I believe their AD loss close to $20 million last year.Has a 10 year contract I believe.

Problem is they haven't improved from midway last year going in to this season.Matter of fact they've regressed.

He was able to raid the JC ranks pretty hard at TT not sure if he's doing the same at WSU.Don't think he's a bad coach but not the guru most people thought he was at TT,Way overrated IMO.

Not excusing the shite show at WSU but he probably had easier access to QBs in Texas too. At WSU, he doesn't have the same talent in the region and is competing against much better teams for the same players. But yea, that doesn't excuse the Portland State loss since he has to be recruiting better than them.

The Ryan Leaf argument is hard because you could say the same about UCF and other similar situations. I doubt they'll ever be a consistently good team but they had an excellent QB that elevated them that year.

At least Leach didn't kill 5 hookers though, so he has that going for him

A good coach should be able to recruit and coach well enough at any Pac 10 school to beat Portland State...

I agree. That's why I said it doesn't excuse the loss to Portland State. That's a bad loss.

Just saying it probably is more of why his offenses aren't putting up the numbers his TT teams used to.

I have no case as I could care less about Leach.

I just stated that your end-zone dance needs some work. You have obviously been waiting for this moment...it seems to me that you'd have put a little more effort into it. That's my position.

I think HRD is saying he was looking for the Dirty Bird and you went more with the endzone phone call.

Disclaimer: I like Leach and think he got screwed by Texas Tech. I also don't think he should be anywhere near an SEC HC job unless it's Vanderbilt. His system can work at a program that can't land big time talent, but there will always be a hard ceiling on what his teams can do.

Absolutely. Although I'd much rather see the "Herschel hands the ball to the ref" celebration.

With Murray, the best qb ever? AJ Green? Rambo, Boykin, Ogletree and Geathers? Oh yeah CMR
