I see a lot of inuendo Trayvon Reed is off the AU team. Can someone confirm or deny?

Update: Per PMarsh a final decision on Reed will come in the next week. Supposedly the decision on whether he stays or not has nothing to do with his fight with Duke Williams. Not sure I buy that.

I can also deny my confirmation

Would I get roasted for saying I would not be disappointed?

Shouldn't 24 always said he was going to be a bust and looks like he may be right. FTR JGT said Reed looked lost and unimpressive at practice this summer and at the Birmingham camp.

Well, I was hoping (like all of us) that he'd recover from his mistakes. Unfortunately I think his thug personality never allowed him to get his head on straight. I wish him the best, but honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up taking the same path as Zeke Pike.

Watching him last year was so difficult. I've never seen someone so flat-footed in my life

I'm not necessarily happy about it. I had high hopes that he would turn it around, however, if the rumors are true about his off-court issues then he is a risk

If true I have little sympathy. He was given all the opportunity in the world despite justifiable reasons to take opportunity away from him

I was actually worried until I realized this was about basketball.

You don't care about basketball.

It's amazing to see the large number of kids blow an opportunity like this; year in, year out. Free education. Free food. Free clothes. Possible fame, potential fortune. Free healthy lifestyle. They are given every chance at a successful life that others would kill for, and they blow it.

I just don't see why someone who clearly had prior trouble wouldn't walk the straight and narrow.

I was convinced on the court he would eventually turn it around since athletically he was a specimen for his size. Worst case just putting his hands straight up made him a legit rim defender (he was too stupid for it last year)

It must not be as easy as some of us think. Too many of these kids blow it. It is amazing that they cant see it.

Some are just uncomfortable receiving good fortune. They will self-sabotage without really making a conscious decision to do so.

It's cumulative. I'd be surprised if he is allowed to stay on the team.
