I don't think the second offensive is a typo

makes you seriously wonder what he could be saying to have a position coach at Tulsa turn him down. Just fricking wow.
I'm very concerned that they might fight Chuck before long just because of how awful this appears. But maybe they'll just give up and let him hire an insurance salesman

No laughing here. We have enough of our own issues to be throwing rocks at other peoples glass houses. Ours has plenty of cracks.

we certainly have issues but the drama queens overblow them. Nothing going on is in the same hemisphere as the dumpster fire raging on the 40

According to people on the Shag, the administration offered him a piss poor contract. Apparently only a 2 year deal. I'm assuming the guarantees money and buyout were issues.
Either way, this tells us all we need to know about the administrations support for Strong. The guy is done. Now we get to watch Oklahoma and Okie Lite pull the race card on Texas in recruiting

Strong has gotten more support than he probably deserves at this point. As bad as Mack's last recruiting class was (I would guess the majority of y'all haven't hear of more than 3 of those guys), there's still enough talent not to get shut out by Iowa St. When you have a guy like Tom Herman waiting, you don't add a couple more years to Charlie's contract when he doesn't have a winning season yet.
Eta: looking at specifics now and man, they really do need to support him hiring an OC more. That team might be garbage again next year.

From coachingsearch.com
Texas: OrangeBloods.com reports Texas didn’t land TCU co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Sonny Cumbie in part because administrators wouldn’t tell Cumbie if Charlie Strong would still be head coach after 2016.

Chuck is safe now, they spent all night negotiating with Gilbert in his driveway. And by they I mean the AD, president of tu, and strong
They are paying 900k for a co-oc of a 6-6 team with a 3-5 conference record, THAT HAS NEVER CALLED PLAYS BEFORE :rotflmao:
And he made them get down on their hands and knees and beg in his driveway :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Let's hope he sucks and is not ready for this.

They have a HORRIBLE defense
slightly improving the offense, and that's all they can do since they still haven't got a qb, won't get them beyond 6-6
