Western Kentucky is playing @ Vanderbilt...
Vandy returns 19 starters. The should be more competitive this year.

Not sure how ASU looks this season, but A&M is the most likely candidate.

Unless A&M's defense is much improved I think they lose.
I disagree. I don't think the Sun Devils have enough on defense to even remotely slow down the Air Raid attack. I think aggy wins in a shootout.
Aggy has been money in openers lately. That's the ole Sumlin start strong he has been known for in his career.

Unless Auburn's defense is as bad as it was last year, I don't see Louisville pulling an upset.
USC vs. UNC - Who knows? USC still has Pharoh Cooper despite having question marks all over. I don't see UNC as a particularly high powered offense or especially strong on defense and Spurrier usually has his teams prepared well to start the season. There's definitely a chance of UNC winning but I expect USC will win this game with ease.

I have no idea what to think about Auburn. Conventional wisdom would say there will be growing pains on defense
For the first time since 2008, I'm not really worried about our defense.
I believe we return 8 or 9 players who started on D for us last year. Then we add back immediate starter and maybe best defensive player in Lawson, then Trey Mathews in the secondary. Linebacker is finally a strength for us, secondary has tons of experience, Dline has tons of experience, Cowart was the #1 recruit in the country last year and he isn't even likely to crack to Dline rotation except in certain packages until later in the year. The talent is there. The depth is there in the front 7 though we are very thin in the secondary.
I'm more concerned about our offense, particularly how well our offensive line gels and whether they can both protect JJ and get the short yardage plays. Last year our O-line could neither pass protect nor open holes in short yardage situations.

Yeah, I put USCe and AtM and about 1 in 3 chance of losing and AU and Bama at about 1/6.
Decent chance SEC wins out opening weekend. 1 loss at worst IMO.

Hope Vandy wins the East; but, the could get beat by Western Kentucky.

I think all four that you listed win. Although the A&M and Auburn games could be tight wins.

definitely auburn. you have no defensive depth, and petrino's offense can keep up score for score
