I don't see what's funny. That's pretty much what they did with the native Americans
how the frick you go get credit if your parents are broke and have no credit, you're not in college so CC companies aren't sending you credit cards lol. Maybe not interest free, but low interest.

You are going against the narrative

5% go USA
So are we gonna pretend these slaves weren't all going to white people of European descent? I'm pretty sure the native people of these lands weren't importing the slaves

It's ok, I can use that word, I have Irish ancestors.

Africans were NOT captured by whites and brought over to be enslaved by whites. They were captured by Africans, traded for by Europeans, then brought over to the Western Hemisphere.
Virtually eliminating thereby any responsibility Europe and America might have for slavery and its consequences. How nice.

Technically, in Africa, I guess? That's where the first ancestors of the Homo Genus originated. So, if you really want to get technical about it, we're all African-Americans.

i don't believe in reparations per say, in part because it would be impossible to calculate how much we should get, but i think that every afrian american should be automatically qualified for one interest free loan up to 50k in their live times to use on whatever they want. you want to use it on spinners that shite's on you. you want to use it to send your kid to private school that's on you too
Awesome. So who all qualifies? How "black" do you have to be, I mean can you have any European ancestry? How much? I mean if you are half black are you black? Should it be based on skin color? How about blacks that are millionaires, do they qualify for the loans as well? By taking the loans do you disqualify for the trillions of dollars that have been spent on Great Society and other social programs designed primarily to benefit minorities? Does a white person from South Africa qualify as African American? Talk about a slippery slope/pandoras box.
BTW, there are a ridiculous amount of loan programs and scholarships that are available exclusively to African Americans, do those not count?
The truth is that dividing people by race is a fools errand that doesn't work long term. People are individuals and they are to an extent a product of their environment for good or ill. You can find just as many people that came from harsh circumstances that used that to make themselves successful as you can find people from pampered circumstances that blew it. Read "The Millionaire Next Door" sometime, if you do you will realize that most people who are wealthy are self made.
In terms of specifically the largest issue with the black community it is the disproportionate amount of children born out of wedlock. There are few things that work against a person trying to be successful as that because they lack typically lack a strong family unit to fall back on and are far more likely to grow up in poverty. It wasn't always that way, in the 50's you didn't have such a high proportion of blacks born out of wedlock. It's a combination of 2 things primarily. AFDC (ie Welfare) that only paid out to women that were unmarried and thus lessened the penalty for having children out of wedlock and the the culture that allowed for being born out of wedlock to be completely acceptable or even expected.
As for me, my Great Grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee and many of my ancestors died on the "Trail of Tears" and my Dad grew up the youngest of 10 on a farm in West Texas and only got to go to college because he earned a scholarship. It only takes 1 generation to step up, regardless of color.

Your grandfather should have grown some nuts and joined the military like both of mine did.
My family never had money and grew up working in the fields with the slaves in north MS. If you'd seen the picture of my great grandfathers "house" you'd understand. They weren't "given" great jobs because they were white, they worked their asses off and risked their lives to make opportunities for their families.

My grandmother grew up on a sharecropper farm.
I was the first person in my WHOLE family to go to college. My brothers did the same. Our family hardly had 2 nickles to rub together. So we worked, earned scholarships, joined the military, took out loans, etc, to each pay for tuition and living expenses ourselves.
What we didn't do was waste time complaining about the reasons others had more or were doing better than us. We just worked hard to improve our situations.
