Auburn has 21 points.

Arkansas has 21 points.

Arkansas' offensive staff had the elevators go out entrapping them after Auburn's staff refused to hold the elevators as they went down first.

Coincidence? Perhaps. Fear? Most definitely.

ETA The elevator cable was supposed to snap. I tied a better knot than I should have.

I like how these are some of the reasons Arkansas thinks Gus isn't classy and is a bad person...he promoted the school he was coaching.

How did it come to this? A once great program. A proud program.

Now we have to watch as you ride the coat tails of Auburn. It is embarrassing. Not to you, I can see that quite a few LSU fans have lost all sense of pride at this point, but to the conference.

No one dickrides Auburn. Not even Auburn fans dickride Auburn.

Christ I pray that LSU wins the natty this year because otherwise I'm worried what will happen to y'all next.

You should be more concerned to when it will happen to him the first time.

There are separate elevators for each coaching staff so you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

I'm working on it- I'll simply say there was some bad mojo going on when he was here before and I have no desire to have that back.

Yep! There was some bad mojo going on when Gus was at Arkansas. Gus did not cause that debacle.

Not at all. But on the Gus Malzahn situation at Arkansas, I worked in the Springdale and Fayetteville area and was kept abreast of the situation by individuals very close to the athletic department. I never knew any of those individuals to fabricate the truth or in any way distort facts in any situation, football or otherwise. I trust their information.

No, he worked back channels, associates, friends, etc. trying to get Nutt's job from day one.

It back fired on him when Woods left and Nutt brought in David Lee, who Mustain spent his summers with learning to play QB.

Horton was also being brought in so Nutt had 3 former OCs on staff, one of which has more influence with the people Gus was trying to persuade in ousting Nutt and naming him the successor thanks to his daddy.

Of course Nutt knew Malzahn couldn't take the blow to his ego in being demoted to just the WRs coach, he left for Tulsa.

After the first time Gus went above Nutt's head over trivial shite and continued to stir the pot while portraying himself as the victim, Nutt decided he must go. The boiling point was Gus encouraging Williams to transferring to SC and was encouraging Mitch to do the same, Nutt's play was to remove the cancer in the program, bring in Lee to develop Mustain, and give Mustain a shot at earning the job over the summer.

Much of the myth about Malzahn being an innocent victim here has been put out by Irwin who was played by Gus like a fiddle.

Will you guys finally admit that allowing your hometown guy to leave the state twice was an epic FUBAR?

I think you guys will get your shite pushed in again this year. You're going up against a guy who had never started a game until he faced Arkansas last year, and he raped your defense in his only half against you. I will hate to see what this guy will be able to do with another year in Malzahn's system and half a season before the Arkansas game.

Plus you guys are enemy #1 on Malzahn's list.

Malzahn could have been your Bear Bryant since you guys have very little football history.
