It is amazing to me how much Spurrier seems to get underrated these days. It is almost like people hold his USC results in a negative light. When in reality what he has done there is nothin short of amazing

Anyone that doesn't have Spurrier on there is really not giving him his fair due. The man took over our program, that had an all time losing record and very little real tradition, and led us to three straight 11 win seasons and top ten rankings. I don't care if the East is down or if they let us win out of pity, doing that here playing in the SEC is an accomplishment that I don't believe another coach outside of Saban could have done.
Then take into account all his success at Florida, the SEC titles, the National title, and basically redefining the way teams in the SEC played offense in the 90's and there is no doubt he belongs on the list.

I watched some UGA games from 80-82 while Herschel was there a few months ago. We all know how dominant he was. When he arrived at UGA he put a 6-5 team from 1979 that was down 15-0 on the road to Tennessee in the 80 opener on his back for three years and almost 1000 carries later he left with an 18-0 SEC record, 3-SEC titles, and a Natty. Went to 1980 GT game in Athens and saw this guy in person for the first time.
Bo was the same kind of player. I wish Coach Dye would have just put Bo in the I formation his entire AU career.

While most will disagree, my list would probably go like this:
Bryant
Spurrier
Neyland
Saban
Dooley and Vaught are in the conversation for me as well. I know most people will disagree with Spurrier, but of all the coaches listed, he is the one I feel could be given a below average team and still have them competitive. He is an offensive genious and what he did at Duke and South Carolina is nothing short of amazing. If he had stayed at Florida I believe he would have 5+ national championships right now.
